The Rock Garden in north Fort Collins is definitely the place to go for any landscaping, rock art or projects. They will help you select what you need from their amazing amount of large,small,etc rocks for any possible use including making your own rock art for bird baths, waterfalls and they will work with you as well which is something that is missing from all other rock or landscaping places.
Update August 7, 2024-Just went again to rock garden for simple project to put 1 inch holes in flat rocks for my own creation and complete a stone bird bath. Luckily Corbin was available immediately, and was impressed by his skills which include stone bird-bath and frankly anything-stone projects. Hired to complete this project. Ordering was simple and price cannot be beat for the level of expertise needed. Thanks Corbin, see you when bird-bath completed! Rock Garden comes thru again and again!

I needed 35 flagstone steppers from Colorado Red Sandstone approximately 18 inches square and I wanted them to be irregularly shaped to look more natural. I visited every landscape supply company in Denver without finding this - they either sell this stone only by the pallet load or the pieces are far too big for me to handle. Then I came to the Rock Garden. They had a pallet load of this stone but the pieces were far too big. Then I told them what I wanted and they proceeded to cut and shape the stone for me! They cut each stone until I approved it and then put it in my car. There was a lot of scrap pieces made by this process and some piece shattered when they tried to cut them. I offered to pay for this as well, and they said all I needed to do what pay for the stone pieces in my car! I was absolutely astonished at this fantastic service! The three guys who cut the stone for me were so nice and the people in the office were fantastic as well. My flagstone path looks great and I will always think of the great people at the Rock Garden who gave my such great service. There is hope for humanity!

The rock garden has the best path stone, building wall stone and accent stone!!!! The best quality to achieve the most grand and classy look possible. Also the best customer service. Michele is a doll and strives to make sure customers are informed and happy. Jonathan and Mike are also always so nice and helpful!!!
