Beautiful place for a swim. Sauna also lovely. The manager was very inflexible to the point of rudeness though. I paid for a swim and a float. But I happened to forget my swimming trunks, and was told I had to rent a wetsuit then. No swimming in briefs. That’s fine. Did so and afterwards asked for a refund for the float. Was told no - I didn’t use it but I rented it and also, I ‘used the wetsuit naked’. I had not been told I couldn’t (naked is the usual way to use a wetsuit), plus I actually wore my briefs under it. Told him. He just said oh, and dismissed me to help another customer.

Clear water, but you need to book in advance — you can’t just walk in. It’s fully booked, even when they’re not busy. There’s plenty of space, but they’re still fully booked.

We understand it can be frustrating if the site appears to have plenty of physical space, but during the peak summer months, our sessions frequently sell out up to two weeks in advance.

We strictly cap our visitor numbers to maintain our safety ratios and ensure everyone on the water is properly monitored and safe. Because we operate strictly on pre-booked sessions to manage capacity, we are unable to accept walk-ins once a session reaches its limit.

We always recommend booking ahead via our website during the summer to avoid disappointment, and we hope to welcome you back for a swim soon.

Hi. Ive been here many times great experience UNTIL today. Turned up to celebrate my husbands birthday with my daughter. Booked a sauna swim. I brought my dog as I always do. Dog friendly on website. NOT today they decided no dogs on site. (Not put on website). My daughter had come from Cardiff. I said I would forego my swim and sit in shade in corner with dog and not move. Our only other option Was to leave or sit in a hot car. The member of staff called THEO said no I couldn’t I would have to leave. We tried to reason but no avail. She is an unkind heartless person. No common sense or empathy. We had to leave. So sad. A family occasion ruined. Please can it be clearly stated on website. Social media not good enough!! Not even a mention of a refund. Sleep well Threo

Excellent location! Was very happy with the swim I was able to archive on a very hot day. I would prefer if they improve the way you can communicate with the business (or lack of ways) and being able to hear back when you submit a ticket/enquiry. The lockers did have a funny smell too, this should be looked into to. Other than the above, flawless experience.
