If I could give Dabbling Duck more than 5 stars I certainly would! This was the second trip we've taken with them to Burgess Falls and Fancher Falls. Captn Shane and Captn Jamie are the ONLY people to trust to take you safely to see these falls. They are highly experienced, licensed boat captains and more importantly, have so much experience and knowledge of the waters surrounding these falls that they not only make sure you're safe and confident as you enjoy the falls, but also make sure you're having a ball! And while Captn Shane is busy captaining the boat, Captn Jamie is taking photos of the amazing wildlife you may encounter (a blad eagle flying by!) as well as pics of you and your group as you enjoy the falls, so you can concentrate on having fun...Jamie will share those pics with you. The only other way to see these magnificent falls is to go by kayak. But if you have young children, or older folks or anyone who's not up to a long kayaking trip on the river, then Dabbling Duck and Cpats Jamie and Shane are to ones to go with!

What a great way to see the falls! The highlight of our trip. From my 80 year old mother-in-law to my 6 year old grandson, we all had an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Dabbling Duck Charters as Capetians Shane and Jamie gave us un unforgettable experience!

Jamie and Shane are the best captains! And just the sweetest people. I have done Charters to the falls with family and friends Two years in a row. I’m sure I will be going again in the future. I highly recommend Dabbling Duck. It’s a great way to see the falls. An overall enjoyable experience!

Very nice and welcoming, loved the boat ride we got to see all the beautiful hidden waterfalls! She guided us through the little walk to the waterfalls so that we got there safely! Would definitely recommend can’t wait to be back next year!

My family and I took a tour to both waterfalls! It was beautiful! Both Captain Shane and Captain Jamie were kind and told us about the area as well as some of their stories and experiences. Captain Jamie took us closer to the waterfalls telling what the easiest route was to get up close without getting hurt! And then took so many amazing photos of us that way we could unplug and just enjoy the family time together! Overall the trip was amazing I cannot recommend it enough!!!

What a fun trip to the waterfalls! This was AMAZING! The waterfalls are breathtaking! And the captains are GREAT as well. Captain Shane navigated the boat through some pretty thick debris and shallow water to get us as close as possible. And then Jaime led us the rest of the way on land and water to experience these majestic waterfalls! We had a blast!

We went on a tour to Fancher Falls. It was AWESOME! The boat was very clean and the Captain & his wife were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We celebrated Summerween on Friday the 13th! The falls felt like a secret oasis!

Go for the Falls, stay for the adventure !!! Took a charter with Captains Jamie and Shane today. We happened upon them at our Secluded RV camp grounds about 15 min. from the marina. They had a sign outside their RV. They got us in last minute with another couple. He was celebrating his 60th Birthday. They even called them to see if they would mind us taking our dog along.Met them at the docks 15 min. before departure. They gave us a small safety waivers speech and we were off. To Fancher Falls a secluded water falls at the end of the lake. Upon arrival they secured the pontoon and Jamie guided us safely to the waterfalls for picture taking and a dip in the plunge pool. It was also very nice we had common experience and old destinations we had in common. I found both Captains very pleasurable and accommodating. Well worth your time and money. I would do it again.

Very Unique and relaxing cruise What a great experience cruising to three gorgeous waterfalls and seeing beautiful lake views as well! Captain Jamie and Captain Shane were great hosts and did a wonderful job creating a unique experience for us. They were so accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas we visited. From a relaxing cruise to rock hopping below the falls, it was truly a great trip!

We took a tour May 29 to both waterfalls and the experience was just amazing. The pontoon boat was comfortable, the Captains were deligent with the safety requirements which I appreciated and then the views were just magnificent. As we headed to Burgess Falls I felt like we could have been in Alaska with all the greenery. So glad my husband & I were able to take this trip.

Skilled Captains Shane and Jaime are so knowledgeable about the area and the falls and provide a friendly, safe and scenic sail to the base of the falls. Let me tell you— the falls are GORGEOUS and experiencing them from the water at the base of the falls is something pretty special 😍 My husband and I enjoyed the afternoon so much and plan to charter with The Dabbling Duck anytime we’re visiting the Cookeville/Sparta area.
