Delightful experience!
Great food, very tasty and lots of flavour. Great service and very delicious coconut ice cream. Looking forward to go back when we are visiting London next time.
Underwhelming curry but efficient service
Very attentive waiting staff delivering beer and papadums in short order. Curry however was disappointing. Very little flavour in the biriani itself and an underwhelming curry on the side. Quite a shock when the bill came - I get we were in the West End but £35 for a beer and a mediocre curry with a couple of papadums felt over-priced. That said; the waiters were efficient and the company made for an otherwise enjoyable experience.
Really enjoyed my meal here today, superb service with delicious- mouthwatering food!
Everything was perfect and the staff were really accommodating , and listened to our particular allergy instructions.
Highly recommend and on my favourite restaurant list. Thank you Bombay spice!

Exceptional taste and service!
I went to the Bombay Spice restaurant for the first time, and it was an exceptional experience and superb customer service. I was well pleased with my whole experience. Food was just perfect, clean environment, cutlery and table. Vibe was pleasant and got a very warm welcome with very polite staff. I definitely recommend this restaurant. We went to Bombay Spice expecting traditional Indian food, but unfortunately left with stomach aches and a very poor overall experience.
The food quality was extremely disappointing. Several dishes had a strong freezer smell, suggesting they were not fresh. The flavours were flat and one-dimensional — everything tasted mainly of turmeric, with no real spice or depth. The biryani genuinely tasted like a frozen supermarket biryani, and the bread was very average.
The samosas were not fresh at all and smelled and tasted like the £1 samosas you get from corner shops. We had to return the lamb grills because the meat was very tough and almost impossible to chew.
We are frequent diners at Indian restaurants such as Dishoom and Gymkhana, and compared to those, this was bottom of the barrel in terms of food quality. Ironically, before the food arrived, the waiter spoke at length about how much better this restaurant was than Dishoom — the food proved the complete opposite.
The wine was also disappointing: £29 for a very below-average bottle with a screw cap, after being told it was a good wine and priced accordingly.
On a positive note, the staff were polite and friendly, and if you’re looking for a place just to chat with the staff, this might suit you. Unfortunately, good service cannot make up for poor, unfresh food. We left hungry, with most dishes unfinished.
Overall, not a place we would return to or recommend for food.

Was walking around Marylebone and decided to have an Indian for lunch. Positive reviews took us here. While we couldn't eat inside, due to having our dog with us, we were able to eat under heating / cover outside. Food was well prepared, with good sized portions, and reasonable value for money given the area in town. Definitely worth a visit if in the area and looking for an Indian with authentic flavours.
