Hi Jean-Mathieu, We're disappointed to see this review, as it does not accurately reflect what occurred.

The interaction began when you requested mobile detailing after purchasing a gift certificate. As explained, our mobile detailing service is offered on a case-by-case basis and currently prioritizes multi-vehicle bookings, which is clearly outlined on our website. While your request did not meet the criteria for mobile service, we advised that your gift certificate remained valid and could be used at any time for any eligible in-shop service.

You later contacted us to schedule an appointment and requested our Plus Wash service. Because gift certificate bookings cannot be completed online without a deposit, we booked the appointment on your behalf based on the service you specifically requested.

When you arrived for your appointment today, you advised that you no longer wanted the Plus Wash service and instead wanted our Deluxe Refresh package. These are entirely different services with significantly different time requirements. A Plus Wash on a truck is typically scheduled for up to 2 hours, while a Deluxe Refresh interior service requires approximately 4 hours. We had multiple appointments scheduled after yours, and accommodating a last-minute change of that magnitude would have disrupted other customers' bookings.

As outlined in our Booking Accuracy policy, customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate service for their vehicle and needs. Our policy further states that if the booked service does not match the vehicle's requirements, we may recommend a different service or reschedule the appointment. We offered to reschedule your appointment so the correct service could be performed, but you declined and requested that we proceed with what could be accommodated within the time available.

To help accommodate you, we performed the Fresh Start package, which fit within the time remaining. However, Fresh Start is a maintenance-level service consisting primarily of a thorough vacuum and wipe-down. It is not intended to deliver the same results as our Deluxe Refresh package, which includes the deeper cleaning processes you were seeking.

It is also important to note that when you picked up your vehicle, you acknowledged that our website clearly explained the services and apologized for the misunderstanding regarding the booking. Throughout the entire interaction, including earlier in the day when frustrations were expressed regarding the scheduling limitations, our team remained professional, respectful, and focused on finding a solution.

We cannot reasonably be held responsible for the outcome of a different service than the one originally scheduled, nor can we disregard other customers' appointments to accommodate a last-minute service change.

For clarity, the gift certificate carried a value of $200, which matched the value of the Plus Wash service that was originally requested and booked. The Deluxe Refresh service requested on arrival is a different service with a higher price point, meaning the gift certificate would have been applied as a credit toward that service and an additional payment would have been required. The issue was never the ability to use the gift certificate, but rather a request to change to a different service after the appointment had already been scheduled. As outlined in our appointment communications and policies, any changes to services, pricing, or recommendations are discussed and approved before work begins.
