I needed two VHS and one Hi8 camcorder tape converted to digital format and I'm glad I found Supaphoto. What made me choose the company were the excellent reviews. I got an extremely fast response to my initial query and I was greeted by very friendly staff when I dropped my tapes off at the studio, and I was also very impressed with all of their specialised equipment they had.
I wasn't looking for either the cheapest or quickest service but I was looking for a high quality service and Supaphoto are one of the few companies around that offer both excellent customer service and a high quality service. I look forward to using them again in the future which I certainly will be doing as I have more videos to convert plus some very old 1940s family photographs I'd like digitizing.

I've just had eight reels of childhood memories digitised from old 8mm film. The service and speed of Supaphoto is second to none. Friendly, fast, and focused on quality. Recently had footage transferred from 8mm cine to DVD, some of it 70 years old filmed in West Africa. Amazed the way it brought back the heat and atmosphere with such clarity. The same clarity with old films of our four sons as they grew up over a span of 20 years.

The Supaphoto team were extremely helpful... I hadn't added an email address or phone number to my order, so they processed the slides and kept them ready for when I contacted them. They then sent them out the same day.

I can’t recommend SUPAPHOTO highly enough. I had some old wedding video tapes that had unfortunately developed mould, and another company had told me they could not be digitised. SUPAPHOTO’s specialist expertise and careful mould-treatment process made all the difference, enabling them to successfully recover and digitise the tapes.

My previous band 'Fear of Falling' had filmed their last 'Farewell Fling' gig in Slough, UK in early November 1984. The single copy of the VHS tape was retained by our bassist Howee, who would watch it from time to time, but ultimately he stored it in his loft, out of sight and out of mind, until one day, as he and his wife were preparing to move house, rediscovered the tape. So after 15 years in his loft it was not in a great condition, most notably, condensation would have formed inside the tape, so white mould grew and could be clearly seen through the shell casing. So Howee's wife Iona contacted me to ask if I could fix it, and then transfer the video to a digital format. They sent me the tape, but I soon realised that this would be a job I couldn't handle, so I looked around for video cleaning and restoration services. That's when I found the excellent Supaphoto Ltd, based in Brighton UK. Emile, my contact, was very helpful and reassuring on the phone, and so I quickly dispatched our VHS tape to Supaphoto marked for his attention. A few short weeks passed and now the mould cleaning has been completed, the video restored and transferred to a digital format (MP4). So we are very pleased, and would like to highly recommend Supaphoto for all your tape restoration needs. Brilliant, thanks !
