Allstate diminished value claim in Florida. Allstate gets a diminished value report from "Accurate DIV" and says their number is "absolute and final" $150! This client filed suit in small claims and sat back and waited for the "absolute and final" amount to get larger as the court date approached. He settled at $3,500 a week before court. Allstate isn't spending any money on attorneys, they are simply betting that most people won't file. And if they do wind up in court they know our common sense based DV report will defeat the "mathematical voodoo" from Accurate DIV in seconds! This is a good result for a great customer. Progressive Diminished Value
Progressive was issuing the normal run of the mill blanket denials for my diminished value claim. After weeks of denials and filing a department of insurance complaint, Steve came through with his appraisal for almost double what I was asking for! The very next day in less than 24 hours Progressive made an offer for more than half of what I was asking for. With Steve's guidance I was able to negotiate a fair settlement within a few days and did not even have to file suit in small claims! I appreciated I did not have to pay a penny for the appraisal until funds arrived in my account. Hopefully, im never in such a situation again, but if I am I know who to reach out to at the very beginning! Excellent communication, excellent appraisal!
