Extremely poor service from start to finish!
My husband went in at around 12:30pm to print three groomsmen invitations on textured card, which we had successfully used with this business before. He was told they would be ready in around 1.5 hours and that he would be contacted.
No one contacted us. He had to chase at 3:45pm, 4pm and 5pm, and only received a response at around 5:30pm. After several more messages, we were eventually given a collection time of 7:45pm.
When I arrived, the prints had obvious white spots all over the faces, to the point that the people in the images looked like they had chicken pox.
When I raised this, instead of taking responsibility or trying to properly resolve the issue, the person in charge blamed his employee for “over-promising”, made excuses about travelling to North London to collect the card stock, and told me, “Ma’am, I am having dinner.” I was also repeatedly spoken over.
What was most disappointing was the complete lack of accountability. Mistakes happen, but blaming your own staff and arguing with the customer instead of simply acknowledging the problem is not good customer service.
What made the situation even more shocking was that immediately after getting off the phone with me, he called my husband. Rather than focusing on resolving our complaint, he complained about me and accused me of “threatening” or “blackmailing” him because I said I would leave an honest review. He also said, “What is £6? £6 is like a bag of chips, do you really need it?”
I found this completely inappropriate and dismissive. I was the person who had just spoken to him about the complaint, yet instead of dealing with the issue directly and professionally, he immediately contacted my husband to complain about me.
This was never about £6. It was about being given poor-quality prints after waiting all day, having to constantly chase for updates, and then being spoken to dismissively when we raised a genuine complaint.
At the time of writing, I am still waiting for the refund that was offered.
I would not use this business again and would strongly advise anyone with an important or time-sensitive order to think twice.
