The Spitting Pig provided a hog roast as the evening food at our wedding for 100 guests. The food was absolutely delicious, lots of choice and went down a storm! They were also very easy to deal with and absolutely lovely, so we highly recommend them!

We were looking forward to James catering for my wedding in June this year. He said and did everything that we requested. Unfortunately at last minute I have had to rally around to find another catering company. Both myself and my other half have sent numerous messages to James lately to discuss things and just to make sure everything was still OK, to which we have had no reply to either of us. As you can imagine with only having 4 month until our wedding it was very stressful. We are both very disappointed that we were treat this way by what we were told a very reputable company. We understand people are busy with work etc but it doesn't take 5 minutes to reassure someone everything is still fine and can go ahead as agreed.

James catered for our wedding in Windermere. He was great - popping in the day before to discuss plans, and he worked around our schedule. The food was fantastic - above and beyond our expectations. Really well presented. Our guests have also commented how great it was. Very good value for money, and would totally recommend!

We hired The Spitting Pig for our small celebration of 30 years of marriage. They were great from start to finish. Communication was good. James & his nephew really helped make our evening go well. We had lots of compliments on the food. The service was great. James looked after everything from setting up, cooking & tidying away, leaving me & my husband free to enjoy our night. I can highly recommend them.

Thank you for catering at short notice for our event. The process of booking on line and payment was very simple at there is always someone on the end of an E mail for a quick response. This is not the first time we have used your service, and it will not be the last. The staff on site were superb and everyone really enjoyed the superb food. Thank you again.
