☺ The owner was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! We greatly enjoyed evenings sitting on the balcony. A bakery is within walking distance and also very friendly. There is no dedicated parking, but there is plenty of parking in the area. It's a 15 minute walk to the S-Bahn station and 25 minute train ride into Munich.

this place was amazing , a hidden gem. train was 7 minute walk that took us to the center of Munich for okotberfest. great view outside your windows, a lot of walking trails to get your beer belly down ( hahaha) very quest and cozy felt like if I was at home. will definitely come back to this place. Madsen was very responsive and helpful with our needs. gave us a whole book on what to do near and far apart. his house was amazing everything was later for us and even had some beer for us( Germany home of the best beer in the world.) if you see this place available book it don't hesitate you won't regret it

Absoluter Glücksgriff, sehr schöne helle, grosse und toll geschnittene Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich umfassend, von Kinderspielzeug bis hin zu Regenschirmen ist an absolut alles gedacht. So etwas findet man nicht oft. Hinzu kommt die attraktive Lage im ruhigen, beschaulichen Baierbrunn, von dem sich der gesamte Münchner Süden bestens erschliessen lässt. Top-Vermieter, professionell, sympathisch, service-orientiert und kommunikativ.

Nestled nicely between Munich and the magical adventures into Bavarian countryside, this space is a haven for families. Great toys selection, beautiful sanctuary living space, privacy, and peace. The host gave us a very warm welcoming home. 🫶🏼 I already miss the church bells’ rhythm of the day. We walked 10 minutes to the train station for our Munich day, then easily reached Neuschwanstein and Berchtesgaden the other days by car.Not much happening locally, but some INCREDIBLE Biergartens and bakeries a very close drive away.One of the best stays I’ve had. 10/10👌🏼

point + : l hôte est bienveillant et nous a bien présenté ce qui était disponible autour de l appartement.la localisation de l appartement est bonne, l accès au train pour Munich se fait rapidement.point - : le logement en lui même est assez vetuste et il n était pas très propre (poussière, insectes morts, poils/cheveux). Cela n a pas ete possible de dormir la fenetre ouverte en période estivale. Le clocher tout proche sonne fort toutes les heures (et quarts d heure) H24.

Dear Cedrick, thank you very much for your review. When we met in person, you gave the impression that you were happy with everything. I explicitly asked you to express any criticism and asked if everything was okay. You confirmed this twice.In fact, I cannot really relate to most of your review. After receiving your written review, I asked you for more details. Regarding the cleaning, it became clear that you expected us to keep the apartment free of insects. In the countryside with a large garden, this is hardly possible without spraying insecticide, which we do not do because it is poisonous in rooms where people sleep. Many of our guests expressly acknowledge this. There were obviously a few insects in the 140 sqm apartment after a heatwave with temperatures of almost 40 degrees while you were here.Regarding the church tower, this is a long fundamental discussion. In Catholic Bavaria, ringing the bells on the quarter, half, and three-quarter hours, as well as on the hour, is permitted everywhere, whether in the big city of Munich or in the countryside. In our beautiful Baierbrunn, many people find this rather tranquil. Of course, it depends on the individual's sleep patterns to what extent they feel disturbed by this. Many people find the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Munich rather positive, as is clear from many reviews.Regarding the inventory: we have 19th-century furniture and modern furniture, as can be seen from the pictures. Nothing is broken or worn out. Loved our stay at our home away from home at Madsen’s place. The apartment was spacious, sparkling clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to come home and relax with family after a day of exploring the many sightseeing locations reachable by the convenient traffic links. The huge terrace is a definite plus. our family had a really great time staying at Madsen's place. though walking to the train station takes around 10-15mins but it was an easy walk with nice greeneries and houses to look at.The apartment had everything from soya sauce for cooking to playmobil and Lego to keep the kids entertained. our kids love the place very much. it is a really spacious and well thought out apartment.lastly, Madsen has been a really really great and thoughtful host, will definitely recommend people to stay on his properties!
