I was recommended the Ultra Vision driving lights after the ones supplied to my vehicle were not much better than the high beam.
While looking at the options I asked about the 4000k and 5700k colour.
It was recommended to go with the 4000k for highway driving. This gives a softer light and less reflection back from signs.
I installed the Raptor 9" 4000k lights.
Drove from the Pilbara to Perth and back, and these lights were superb.
Easy on the eyes. Excellent distance and side coverage. Less reflection compared to a cooler colour.
Also when there is rain and fog, you get less reflection and better penetration.
Have a raptor 120, which after 5 years of hard use and multiple water crossings in the snowies and Vic high country had some condensation buildup on the inside of the lens.
Called Ultra Vision to see what my options were and was told to box it up and give them my address. They picked it up from far north QLD, fixed it in the Victoria workshop and had it returned all in 7 days under warranty.
The product is already excellent, but the customer service has won a customer for life.
Fantastic Australian product. Design and fantastic customer service perfect for Australian rural roads. Nitro Max lights up side of road at almost 90 degrees to bonnet and great distance for safe driving on dirt roads, avoiding roos, cattle and wombats! Can even Spot that black Angus bull!
I had a cheap LED light bar which when new was ok, but after 6 months it filled with water and the performance just kept getting worse. I use the light nearly every day as driving around my area at night, there are heaps of kangaroos that stray onto the road. I found the UltraVision light bar online and I am so glad I did. When you get it in your hands, you can feel the build quality of it, and it looks like a premium product. When you plug it in and try the light, all I can say is the performance is amazing. The light output is light years ahead of the cheap light bars, and probably some of the more expensive ones too. It's the old story; you pay for what you get! Aussie Made and the guys are really willing to help so I would recommend contacting them if you're not sure which light you need. I know where I am going when I need to by lights.
