Do yourself a favor and book your day out! My partner and I had the best day and with the best crew. Even though I am a klutz and lost my snorkeling gear , they had no problem and found it after deep diving for it ( again , I am so sorry ). A great day out and can’t wait to book again next time I am in Key West and I promise to not lose the snorkeling gear next time.
All I can say about my experience on the Blu Q is AMAZING! What a great time. Smalls (The Captain) and Hadden went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Our group of 25 men were very friendly and seemed to have few inhibitions about going on a clothing optional adventure. This was the first time that I even thought seriously about going without trunks except at my home pool, so I had on trunks for the snorkeling. And by the way this crew provided all the equipment needed for a safe snorkeling experience. When we went on to the sandbar wading I decided to join some of the others and lost the trunks. The crew and other guests made me feel completely comfortable and not embarrassed. It was refreshing to let go of some inhibitions. I very highly recommend this experience, trunks or not, you will have a blast!!
I have been a guest on BlueQ for many years and this was our 3rd adventure. The experience is always exceptional, the crew always make it a fun and engaging outing. And the community of people is definitely the experience we come back for every time. The last trip was over 4th of July and it will stand out as one of my best 4th of July firework experiences seeing them from the BlueQ on the open water in Key West! Thank you Capt Smalls and team for making our celebration of 250yrs of America so special.

Incredible experience
Took a day cruise on a random trip to Key West. Had an amazing day sipping drinks on a beautiful sand dune. Water was turquoise crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The crew was incredible and made the entire experience so memorable. This will absolutely be on my to-do list every time I come back.
We had such a great experience with the BluQ catamaran charter in Key West and would absolutely recommend it. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The crew was professional, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe the entire time.
We chose the sandbar / snorkeling / sunset evening charter and are so glad we did. The water in July was crystal clear, warm, and beautiful, and it made for such a fun and relaxing afternoon. This was the men’s-only clothing-optional charter, but at no point did we feel pressured or obligated to take our clothes off, which I really appreciated. It felt very laid-back, respectful, and comfortable.
The snacks on board were light, fresh, and perfect for staying hydrated in the heat, and the location was super convenient. Since it was July 4th, the captain even took us under the fireworks on the way back to the marina, which was such an unforgettable touch and made the whole experience even more special.
Overall, this was one of the highlights of our Key West trip. If you’re considering booking, do it — and definitely consider supporting this queer-owned business. Pro tip: bring reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and a couple extra changes of clothes because you’ll want to be comfortable for the full experience
My husband and I are basically honorary locals to the island and will definitely include this during our several trip trips to Key West every year. Make sure to tip your staff accordingly I remember all the hard work they do!
If you're not someone who is a big drinker, this was a great option as well. Drinks are not included however you can bring them on. The afternoon group of men that we traveled with were very laid-back, not sure about what the experience is like during the early morning charters.

I had a great time getting to our destination and having the chance to snorkel and explore the sand bar. Hayden was an excellent First Mate, providing support, great snacks and making us all comfortable. Captain Sean was a seasoned captain and aided in making the trip enjoyable and safe.
