Wir waren wegen der guten Bewertungen im Restaurant. Der Laden war klein und gemütlich, die Besitzer/Kellner waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war wirklich super lecker. Wenn man Potions Größen aus Europa gewohnt ist, reicht es gegebenfalls aus, sich etwas zu teilen. Das ist aber definitiv kein Nachteil! Für die Reste haben wir Boxen bekommen und konnten alles super einfach mitnehmen.

We had a lovely dinner at Red Onion. They were able to fit us in as walk-ins on a busy Saturday night, and the host was so kind and welcoming. My best friend had the butter lamb and I had the butter paneer. Both were delicious on that night as well as when reheated as leftovers the next day. Great naan as well, we had the garlic and the cheese-stuffed. Wonderful service. Best mango lassi I have EVER had. I’m just visiting New York for the weekend, so I’m very grateful to have gotten the opportunity to dine here!

We've been coming here since shortly after it opened about a year and a half ago. Great neighborhood restaurant, delicious food, and we've always been particularly fond of the proprietor Varun, who has a great story and a very warm gracious manner. We just learned that his personal lineage is quite special. We'll leave it to him to share with any guests who inquire.
Last night, we had palak paneer, rara bhuna lamb, coconut rice, and naan. None of it disappointed, great dishes. And Varun treated us to a proprietary mango honey yogurt beverage, served in their own logoed can. Was like a yoplait yogurt - delicious!
We look forward to our next visit.
