Protech was a real life saver. I was working on a video project over 3TBs in size when my hard drive went bad. I got quotes from some other data recovery companies but Protech had the best price and fastest turn around time by far. They saved all my data and they did it very quickly. They also told me I wouldn't have to pay anything if they couldn't recover my data whereas other companies charge a couple hundred bucks no matter what. Definitely recommend using them if you need data saved from a bad hard drive.

AWESOME and LIVE UP TO THEIR PROMISES My less than one year old Mac Mini's 1TB drive failed. I had Time Machine set to back up and it was - faithfully four times a day. But...for some reason it stopped backing up new files seven months ago (hard lesson learned - do not only look at the back up summary, look inside to make sure all files are backed up). Called the 800 number on a Saturday - a live person picked up! Sent the drive in by UPS that afternoon and had it back within the week with ALL THE DATA RECOVERED! Believe Protech's promise - they lived up to it for me.

My laptop crashed during an update and I lost access to a ton of files as the OC was unable to access my files anymore. I had taken it to a laptop specialist previously but my issue was very specific. I called Paul and he guided me through the process and does not charge if the data is not retrieved. I learned a bit of useful information about data and hard drives as well. The Protech people were able to recover almost all of my data in a short amount of time. I would recommend Protech for your own emergencies.

Called ProTech today for issues I was having getting my photos from my compact flash memory card. I spoke with Paul who was very professional, upfront on cost and was willing to help me right away. Keep in mind, this was on a Sunday. Drove to the office, dropped off my card, and in less than 2 hours, I had all of my photos back. The price was very reasonable. Hopefully this never happens again but if it does, I will call ProTech and ask for Paul. Strongly recommend.

The people at Protech were very professional and great to deal with. my worst nightmare happened, I went to access my data and drive and Windows said the drive is not formatted and my last back up was 30 days old. I got a call 2 hours later and they instantly relieved my stress by saying they have a 99% probability that they would recover 100% of my data, which they did. I picked up the drive the next day and I am back up and running. They were reasonably priced, fast, and courteous, and I highly recommend their services.
