I LOVE the team at 1984! I’ve had 2 tattoos during my trip. One from Stella in Hanoi and one from Pillo in Hoi An. Each time the experience was perfect from start to finish. Beautiful clean studios and talented artists. I have genuinely never been happier with my tattoos. Definitely coming back! Thank you so much guys ❤️

So amazing, Ama was understanding of me moving a lot and it turned out beautiful. Amazing aftercare and all the employees really make sure you get what you want in terms of placement, size and design. They take their time and dont just rush to get money quickly. They show needles in the packet and with expiration date to ease your mind about unclean needles as well.

Everyone here is very welcoming, I was a walk in and they took care of me immediately. I am very pleased with this place. Next time I’m in Hoi An I will be coming back here!!! I cannot recommend this place enough

I visited the studio to get a piercing, Lily took care of me properly! High level piercer, nice and doesn't hurt at all! The experience was excellent, the studio good and clean. Recommend to everyone

[Fresh and healed photos below]. I came to 1984 to expand an existing tattoo I had (the lilies). My artist, Hip, was extremely talented and meticulous, and involved me in the design process to ensure that the design was what I wanted. The price quoting process was transparent -- they quote a price beforehand and that price does not change even if the tattoo ends up taking longer. This piece was about 4 hours. The set-up was sanitary, and all needles were new (you can check before starting). Would come back to 1984 for my next one :)

I had a great experience here, Andy did my tattoo exactly as I wanted it, the process was efficient, clean and not painful. The end result is great. The whole team was friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely come again.
