Amazing Family Experience
We had the most incredible coasteering experience today with my husband and our two children, aged 8 and 10. From the moment we arrived, Nick made us all feel completely at ease. Both kids had firmly announced beforehand that there was “no way” they’d be jumping off cliffs — but thanks to Nick’s calm encouragement, patience and brilliant energy, they ended up doing jumps we never thought they’d even attempt, and absolutely loved every second of it. Nick has such a natural way with children and families. He knows exactly when to reassure, when to gently push confidence levels, and how to make the whole experience feel exciting while always feeling completely safe. His knowledge of the coastline and conditions was so impressive, and his enthusiasm is genuinely infectious. The equipment was excellent, the whole trip felt incredibly well organised, and having photos included meant we could stay fully in the moment instead of worrying about capturing everything ourselves. Amazing value for such a memorable adventure. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly — five stars doesn’t feel enough. We’re already talking about coming back again next year. Thank you, Nick, for giving our family one of those rare days we’ll all remember forever.
My fifth time with Nick and somehow the best yet. I brought all four of my children along for the first time. A personal goal of mine and it was everything I'd hoped for and more.
Nick was brilliant. Supportive, knowledgeable, endlessly encouraging and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made every one of us feel capable, including on the big jumps! All equipment provided, GoPro footage and photos included in the price, and not a detail missed.
An highlight was spotting three seals during our session an absolutely breathtaking moment. They were hilariously curious about what on earth we were doing, which had us all in stitches! Nick thoughtfully altered the route to avoid disturbing them, which showed real respect for the wildlife and the environment. That moment alone made the day extra special.

Nick made a dream come true. A day I'll never forget with my four kids. 20,20,23 and 25yrs. I've coasteered with Nick five times now, but this one was something else entirely. Bringing all four of my kids for the first time had been a personal goal of mine, and Nick delivered beyond anything I could have hoped for. He was warm, encouraging and completely in tune with each of my kids . Knowing exactly when to give them a nudge and when to reassure them. His knowledge of the coastline is second to none, and that expertise meant everyone felt safe even launching off some serious epic heights! Top quality equipment provided , and photos and videos included in the price meant I was fully present for every single moment. Great guides, brilliant fun and suitable for all
We had a great time with Nick and Tony who were really fun guides. The session was suitable for all abilities - there's no pressure to do anything you're uncomfortable with, but there's also plenty of opportunities for those looking to take things up a notch. Don't let the cold water put you off - the wetsuits do a great job of keeping you warm!
Nick took us out on our first-time coasteer adventure and we had such a good time! He is very relaxed, but at the same time knows very well what can and cannot be done. We felt very safe and enjoyed every bit of it. One of us is quite afraid of heights, but this was no issue at all; if you don’t want to do a high(er) jump then there is no pressure and always an alternative. At the same time, if you do want to push your limit, Nick is a great coach to do just that. Highly recommend this activity. The footage you get is a great souvenir of a morning (or afternoon) well spent. Would do it again!

An amazing experience!
This is the second time that my family and I have booked this experience with Barefoot and we would never book with anyone else. Nick and his team are fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout, and showed such patience and encouragement when my young son became fearful. We also got to swim amongst wild seals!

My husband booked this for me, him and our three eldest boys. We were all very excited to do it and it far exceeded all our expectations!
Nick was legendary - We all felt very well looked after by him and he was so knowledgeable about everything we did and saw - We learnt so much!
We did it at the very beginning of March and I was worried about feeling the cold in the water, but all the gear / wetsuits etc that was provided was excellent and really high quality and we felt very well protected and didn’t feel the cold!
I would highly recommended coasteering with bare feet coasteer - It honestly felt like the experience of a lifetime and we can’t wait to return again.

I went on a winter coasteer (which according to Nick is the best coasteer) end of March, it was rather windy and the sea was choppy, but Nick made sure several times before heading out that the trip was safe. We went with a small group of six people accompanied by Nick, a coasteering veteran. After gearing up (everything provided and included in the fee) he run us through safety measures and then we jumped in for the first time. Nick always made sure that everyone was feeling safe and nobody was pressured in doing jumps they felt uncomfortable with. I always felt safe. We stayed in the water for about two hours and it was totally worth it. I am almost forty years old and the rest of the group was in their early 20s, so I guess this activity is something for the age group 14-49. You should check it out. The pictures and videos provided by Nick a few days later were great, too. I will definitely remember this activity. Thanks, Nick.

Brilliant!! It’s a must do activity!!
We completed the Winter Coasteering session with Nick and loved every minute of it. Nick was an exceptional host, with depths of knowledge. He made sure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish, we never felt pressured to do anything we didn’t want too and we felt safe throughout. This is a must do for anyone that visits Newquay, we nearly didn’t do this and it ended up being the best thing we did. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back to do it again!

A magical coasteering experience.
My 14 year old son and I had an amazing introduction to Coasteering with Nick who is hugely experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about the discipline. Everything about our experience was first class - from the communication prior to the day, the safety briefing, equipment and of course the coaching itself! Nick knew just how to encourage us both so we got maximum enjoyment from the day and left us wanting to do it all again. Nick’s knowledge of and respect for his surroundings was infectious. The abundant wildlife including an inquisitive seal and cormorant was an unexpected treat and sealed a magical day for us. Excellent Winter Coasteer
My wife and I had a brilliant afternoon on the Winter Coasteer. Nick was an excellent, knowledgeable guide who got the perfect balance of fun and adventure and provided lots of interesting information about local history and the marine wildlife along the way.
