We recently purchased a home in the Pedasí area and decided to work with a realtor to help us navigate the process. We found Tedd and Panama Sovereign almost by chance through WhatsApp, and looking back, we were incredibly lucky we did. After discussing our budget, preferred locations, style of home, and everything else that goes into finding the right property, Tedd listened carefully and showed us three properties that were excellent fits for what we were looking for. Two of those properties were Tedd’s listings, and in the end, we chose one of them. One thing worth mentioning is that we have purchased several homes over our lifetimes, and finding a realtor who truly listens to your budget and preferences — and then actually shows you properties that fit those requirements — is rarer than it should be. Tedd absolutely did that. Even though Tedd was representing the sellers, he handled the entire transaction with exceptional professionalism and fairness from beginning to end. As foreigners buying property in Panama for the first time, we were navigating unfamiliar territory — language barriers, attorneys, inspections, utilities, and all the many details involved in an international real estate purchase. Tedd connected us with trustworthy professionals every step of the way and made what could have been an overwhelming process much more manageable. This particular sale involved a fair amount of back-and-forth and some challenging moments, but throughout the process Tedd remained calm, neutral, and solution-oriented. At no point did we feel like we were “on the other side of the deal.” He worked hard to keep communication constructive and to ensure the process stayed fair for everyone involved. What stood out most was his integrity and professionalism under pressure. In a smaller community like Pedasí, those qualities matter a great deal, and we would not hesitate to recommend Tedd to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the area.

We met with Jonathan while visiting Casco Viejo in Panama, and I was immediately impressed. As a real estate professional from the States, and also a real estate investor, I struggle to find real estate brokers that I want to work with. I could tell from the start that Panama Sovereign Realty has its thumb on the Panamanian real estate market. Jonathan helped me understand the neighborhoods of Panama City by going over the pros and cons of each area. He took the time to ask me questions about what is important to me when it comes to relocating from the United States to Panama. He asked me about my hobbies and quickly honed in on how important looking for real estate near the Cinta Costera would be for me. Jonathan went into great detail about other locations like Costa del Este, Punta Pacifica, the Ocean Reef Islands, and while I loved Casco Viejo the most, the better fit for me was an area with newer buildings like Ave Balboa. Panama Sovereign Real Estate invested considerable time with me right from the start. It was catered to my needs and desires. I felt that I was working with a team that was knowledgeable about the local market conditions and knew the areas like the back of their hands. I truly wish I had started the conversation with Jonathan and his team before I traveled to Panama, it would have been helpful to have his expertise to do some research before I left home. I didn’t do this because I was feeling overwhelmed with trying to understand all the many choices of real estate available in Panama City. While I’m grateful to have found his office right in the heart of Casco Viejo in Panama, I know from experience that you don’t always get the most experienced and dedicated real estate professionals by chance. One of the team members took me to see some luxury penthouse condominiums within steps of the Cinta Costera, and we had a chance to see some beautiful properties and explore all the amenities within each of those buildings. Jonathan was also incredibly good at helping us to understand the investment opportunities and how they relate to the visa programs, and he took the time to explain and break all that information down for me in person, even though it’s all available on their website. Panama City is a big area to explore, and you’re going to want some help learning the area. Jonathan, David, and the entire team at Panama Sovereign Realty are sure to impress.
