NH Oil Undercoating inc Reviews

Brock Kerr 2026.10.15

I remember NH Oil Undercoating back when they were first getting started. Joe was out there with a truck and trailer, literally getting underneath vehicles and doing the work himself. To walk in today and see what this place has turned into is pretty incredible. They've come a long way from those early days. Now they've got a huge operation, their own undercoating products, and shops using their products all over the country. Pretty impressive when you think about where it all started. Anybody who's lived in New Hampshire knows what the salt does to vehicles around here. It's great seeing a local, family-run business take something so simple and turn it into what it is today. You don't see that kind of growth without a lot of hard work and dedication. Really happy to see how far Joe and his family have come. They've certainly earned their success. Keep up the great work!

Highly Recommend NH Oil Undercoating! NH Oil Undercoating is an excellent place to go for convenient, professional service and outstanding care for your vehicle. The hospitality is exceptional, and the customer waiting area is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It features cozy couches, a complimentary high-quality massage chair to enjoy while you wait, and free coffee, hot cocoa, and snacks. The entire facility is impressively clean and free of unpleasant odors, even with the undercoating products being applied in the outdoor service bays. If you’re looking for excellent customer service, quality undercoating materials, and a comfortable, welcoming experience from start to finish, NH Oil Undercoating is the place to go! I highly recommend them! I will be a long time new customer.

This is the second truck I have had undercoated, the first is going on 7 years now and I just picked my girlfriend’s new vehicle. I referred her to them. I will take every vehicle I own to them in the future. They’re neat, and take pride in their work. Protect your investment if you plan on keeping your vehicles in the Northeast for awhile!!!

Nice cozy atmosphere and nice staff! This is my first time using them, but heard great things. Excited that my new car will be protected from harsh NH winters.

Went in for a V3 undercoating for my 2025 F150. I got my truck back with the hood and part of the windshield covered in undercoating. I have gone to this location before and not had any issues like this. I get that there may be some overspray, but my hood was completely covered in oil. It took me a while to clean it and I ruined a few microfibers in the process. I guess their quality has gone downhill. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place anymore. Also, I called the shop to tell them about this, you can no longer get a human on the phone, it’s all AI. I left a message and they never called me back. So their customer service has also gone downhill.

Hi, this is Carol, one of the owners of NH Oil Undercoating. I just read your review and wanted to personally reach out. I'm truly sorry you were disappointed with your recent visit.
V3 is an oil-based product, and some overspray is unavoidable as the oil atomizes during application. We take precautions, including covering windows, and avoid wiping painted surfaces to prevent scratching. Fortunately, the oil washes off and won't harm your finish.
That said, I understand your frustration with the amount of overspray and the time you spent cleaning it.
What saddened me most was reading that you felt our quality had gone downhill. As a family-owned business, we take tremendous pride in our work and haven't lowered our standards. We truly value your continued business and hope this one experience won't overshadow the positive experiences you've had with us.
Thank you for supporting our family business!
Carol

He put the undercoat all over my truck underneath, including the spare tire, hoses that are now deteriorating because of the chemicals, handprints all over my blue truck with oil, and told me a lie and said that he did the descaling when we get underneath that he did not do the descaling. He acted like he did me a favor of saving me $300 which he tried charging me for descaling, which didn’t need to be done as I get the undercoat done every year. I was trying someone new now I wish I never had. He’s destroyed my truck!!!!

Hi Heather, we’re sorry to hear about the problems you’ve experienced with your truck. We’ve searched our customer records and aren’t able to find your name in our system, so it appears this work may not have been performed at our shop. Could you please let us know the name and location of the shop that serviced your vehicle? If there’s been a mix-up, we’d like to help get it sorted out. Thank you.

Staff is friendly & helpful and the experience was great. There is a comfortable living-room like waiting with complementary coffee or a conference room where you can get some work done while you wait. Service takes about 45-60 minutes and protects your vehicle's underside from our NE winters.
