Came to this beach restaurant to spend 2 mornings... before going to spa/yoga appointments in the afternoons. AND what a view! See pics... and these are legit (not stock) pics!
Also, amazing staff at the restaurant. JANNA was like the favorite Auntie/Tia... ensuring you got what you asked for. And always with a sweet smile.
And of course DANIEL! He was on top of his service game, always sincerely super friendly and checking up on me... since I stayed there for a bit.
Next time I'm in DR, I'll make sure to allow more days here.
OH! Remember to get the ACAI bowl (delicious) AND they have the best PLANTAINS (with the right crispiness, not soggy, right seasoning, etc.) It came as a side order BUT next time, I'm only going to get a full plate of the PLANTAINS!

This is a beautiful spot and a fantastic spa hotel. It's a an immense departure from most of the resorts in the area with a lot of natural surroundings and meditative services and yoga, etc. And it's a it's not very expensive for being one of the best restaurants in Cabarete

Discovered a gorgeous, natural, zen place to have my cappuccino this morning! Sooooo relaxing...is a must if you're in the Sosua-Cabarete region. Just beautiful everywhere, including the beach area. Horse back riding seems to be available. Restaurant is vast, with different seating options...beautiful view on the ocean. Relaxing music in the background. Breakfast menu was very interesting and prices were fair. Again, a place worth discovering!

Disappointed
I am a frequent customer of this restaurant, I have always enjoyed the service and the food but I am very very disappointed today. I arrived a little after 5 pm there was only a couple dining at the time. I believe there were 4 or 5 servers just standing around doing nothing. I sat down and waited to be served, no one came to my table, after 12 minutes I had to ask for a tea and a menu, again I waited for someone to take my order finally the young girl came over but she didn’t know the menu at all, I placed my order with the manager, again waited for a long while for the meal to arrive, normally they would serve some bread while the meal is getting prepared but this time I had to ask for some bread. My food finally came I was expecting a serving of salmon but it was a tiny piece in my plate which was taw with an few shrimps mostly shells no shrimps and a small piece of another fish, again undercooked, my salad was drenched in dressing. I couldn’t wait to get my bill and get out. I don’t mind paying for good food but when I have to throw my money away for bad food and bad service it bothers me.

Reservations for New Year’s Eve. Set menu looked fantastic but fell short on flavor. Portions were small with “dessert buffet”, which was a joke. Three small unflavored “cakes”, a few pieces of fruit. Had to get a pizza when we left. Don’t understand the 4.6 review, it’s laughable.

I’ve come to this restaurant quite a few times and every single time my meal has been so delicious. Love coming here during lunch since you are right on the beach and you will have such a beautiful view while you eat. The food is amazing and the staff are great too!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to come as well.

The waiter Solomon was a very exceptional and very attentive to our needs. My girlfriend was having a little trouble digesting her food and recommended a drink that would help with that, so we ordered two limoncellos and that helped. He made our dinner experience really special.

Wonderful ambience, service, and vegan options!
Came here for five days and four nights, tried all the main entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner, favorites included the vegan mangu for breakfast, vegetable soups for lunch, and pumpkin risotto for dinner. Honorable mention for the wok noodles, potential for the Carribean curry and cashew purslane ravioli. Please keep in mind that many vegetables used in recipes are grown organically on site which is wonderful. In terms of service, Emma is a delightful manager who is attentive and gets to know her patrons, she is a great addition to the team. Although there were several servers who were friendly and helpful, Solomon really stands out! While other reviews will compare the food with other restaurants, one aspect which cannot be beat is the vibe and ambience, the beachfront setting, sounds of the waves and relaxing music really makes this a memorable and special place!
