I’ve been seeing Michelle here since I moved to the Hollywood area about a year ago and she’s the best! Everyone at the salon is super friendly and welcoming and they all do an outstanding job! Michelle helped me get my nails healthy and long with hard gel and my nails have literally never looked this good in my life (I used to bite my nails). Highly recommend Nail Nation! Great prices and excellent service and quality!

The quality of the service is generally good but there are some shady practices at this salon. I was convinced to get gel x at my first appointment though I normally get acrylics. Well at the second appointment I found out why. Even though refill is listed as 60 dollars which in itself is crazy considering a new service is 65, I was charged 80 dolllars. So they charged me 20 dollars for a simple design on a refill? Right in front of me the person doing my service asked another person for a 100 dollar tip. As a joke ok but then they ended up taking a 25 dollar tip from the cash that was given to them and just asking the customer if that was ok. Not my scene to do all this. The salon is not luxurious enough to be charging these prices-I could go to any of the nice places a few blocks away for the same price.

Hi Miriam, sorry if there is any confusion on prices. Hard gel fill is $60 , we understand that’s only $5 different from the new set but with gelx fill-in, even though it’s a fill but generally we have to apply gel on the whole nails for longer lasting, it’s a longer process. unlike acrylic fill-in , we just fill in wherever it’s needed which so much easier and faster. For our designs, it starts from $20 and up for 10 nails depending on the levels. For your second concern, most of our clients are returning clients and we treat each other like friends. So we joke a lot here, that client is one of them. He knows us for over 5 years, there is no way we made him or anyone tips . He tips whatever amount he wants to. We transfer tips at the end of the day. Victor has said out loud that there $25 tips to the ladies and so the ladies add it to their book for total at the end of the day. It’s our way of handling tips. Sorry if this is bothering you but for sure we are very clear with that. Hope this can solve any confusion to your feedback. We thank you so much for your booking! If you’re in Los Angeles and serious about long-lasting gel nails, Michelle at Nail Nation LA is the real deal. I booked a gel manicure and the difference was immediate — no rushed prep, no thick, bulky gel, no cutting corners. Michelle actually takes time to do a proper consultation (rare in LA nail salons). She asked about my nail history, lifestyle, and how long I needed the set to last.

So glad I found Nail Nation. The combination of a beautiful aesthetic and high professional standards makes this my new favorite spot. Snow truly saved my nails after a different salon completely botched my last set. I arrived with bulky Gel X extensions that were uneven and lacked the proper shape. Snow was incredibly patient as she removed the old product and applied a fresh set of Gel X extensions that look both elegant and natural. She has a remarkable eye for symmetry and ensured the thickness was perfectly balanced. Her cuticle work was meticulous and the entire atmosphere of the salon was very professional. Since this location is on Melrose, I was worried about the logistics, but I actually found convenient parking on a nearby side street without any trouble. I am so relieved to have found a technician I can trust. If you need high quality work, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Snow.

$53 for cat eye gel mani. They have lots of color options and gave us plenty of time to decide on our color. However I had 2 different people work on this 1 color mani and waited 45-1hr before a technician came and worked and in between the 1st and 2nd technician.

I recently visited Nail Nation Spa in LA, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was serene and inviting. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly skilled; they took their time to ensure that every detail of my manicure and pedicure was perfect. I love coming here. This nail shop standouts. Every stylist/ tech is sooooo professional. The quality of my nails are amazing. They even care about the health of my nails, especially during removal. I enjoyed coming here because Nail nation treats everyone like they are a celebrity. We are a celebrity when we are in their chair. The owners are soooo down to earth and I enjoy the laughters every time I come in. THey also offer you water which is always a plus!! Stay hydrated . (When I cheat on them.... I suffer) hahaha I am very pleased everyone I come here & I've been coming here for over 10 years. I would recommend this shop to anyone. This is my favorite shop in Los Angeles

Nail nation has been my favorite in LA for years. My friends and I all have been going here and it's just the best. Michelle is so incredibly talented as are all the techs. Michelle helped me grow out my natural nails long, strong and healthy and she is just so precise and amazing. I'm super picky and she amazes me each time with perfect nails!!!! I love nail nation, 10/10 recommend!!!
