Am so grateful to have found Milestones the lakes, not only did they help by providing care at short notice but my daughter has gained so much from being there since July 2023. Amazing educators, fantastic management honestly couldn’t ask for a better place to send your child. Highly recommended!

Our children have attended Milestones the Lakes since the end of January 2024, just after the centre commenced a new management team. The management team has really put in the work when trying to connect with the families, ensuring we are settling into the centre and any and all concerns so far have been met and addressed swiftly from management. The staff have forged wonderful relationships with each of our children, they have listened to our concerns and have really worked along side us to help develop and foster confidence, independence and school readiness for our 4yo especially, but have been excellent in the communication with our 2 younger children also. We have settled in wonderfully, the staff are welcoming and receptive and we are glad to have chosen this centre for our family.

What started as a good experience turned bad. It was very clear that there was a major cultural issue amongst the staff which lead to huge staff turnover, a negative atmosphere and constant requests to keep kids at home as they were short staffed. The centre management near the end was awful, they were incredibly rude and didn’t even greet you as you entered to drop your child off, just kept their heads down. It was quite hard to believe in honesty. Unless they have changed centre management and fixed their staff issues, I would not recommend sending your kids to this centre. For context our son was there from 6 months until he was just under 2. By the end we felt we had no choice but to pull him out.

We sent our daughter to 2 different daycares in Townsville before finding Milestone The Lakes and we couldn't be happier, she is so much happier and loves going. An early educator is a tough position, and the staff always ensure they make you feel welcome even on their hardest days. Our daughter has blossomed being in the centre and it's a true testament to the staff. They do such a wonderful job, the kids are very lucky.

Highly recommended this centre. Melissa and the room educators have gone above and beyond to help settle my little one into the babies room. The room educators are genuinely amazing and have been so friendly. It has made the transition back to work/daycare feel alot less stressful! My bub loves her daycare days and is so comfortable already after only a short time!

My son has been attending Milestones The Lakes for over a year now. This year he is in Kindergarten and thriving. He has been coming home and will tell me things he has learnt or will surprise me by putting what he has learnt from daycare into action at home. His counting, colours and vocabulary have improved tremendously. I have also witnessed him use breathing and counting technique's to calm himself down in situations. I’m beyond impressed with how much he has improved and learned already this year.

The educators and team at Milestones the Lakes have been so warm and welcoming to our family. They have provided so much support to my children as they transitioned to the centre. The educators have all been so lovely, welcoming and have already forged wonderful relationships with my children. The centre is very clean, tidy and provide a wide variety of outdoor activities for the children with great shade from the harsh sun. My children have LOVED the fresh meals provided from their amazing chef and have settled into the centre amazingly due to the staffs involvement and support.

Milestones the Lakes is hands down the best childcare centre in Townsville. The educators go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. My daughter is in with Miss Karla and Miss Karla always greats us with a smile and makes us feel safe leaving our princess in her care. I would recommend this centre to anyone and everyone.

Where do I start. Milestones the lakes have been nothing but perfect for little miss who started in nursery at 4 months old to now a year and a half years old. From the first day to her last (unfortunately) having to move, the staff have been nothing but loving, caring and I couldn't of asked for better staff to look after her. I was worried so early but they all eased my worry. Servio is the most amazing human, always there to greet you and your little one with always a smile. Every staff member is amazing and friendly and we are so sad we have to leave. Thank you for all you have done for little miss. We could of not asked for a better centre and better people. You guys will be very hard to top. Would rate 10/10 if I had the option.

Wonderful Center. Have always been greeted with a smile. Staff are great to deal with and understands my child’s individual needs. Outdoor areas are shady and very safe. Understanding of children’s different dietary needs. Can not fault this early learning centre.

I have a 9 month old and 2 year old at the centre, my baby is catered to as if he were there own and has started reaching many milestones, my 2 year old who's never been in daycare absolutely loves going to school, he adores his teachers and is surprising us daily with all he is leaning. Would absolutely recommend 👌

It has been just over 6 months and we couldn't be happier! In the last few weeks particularly Master 4 has been very vocal in comparing me to the team at Milestones: For instance: "Mum, be like Mr Joshua, he's always happy" "Mum, Miss Laura is a better cook - you can learn from her?" Putting your children into care is always a daunting thought process, making sure they are cared for and they are treated greater than just a number in the room. The team at Milestones have taken the time to get to know our boys, their little idiosyncrasies and have really supported their transition to care from the Toddlers Team through to the Kindy Team! We have been impressed by the involvement of educators, communication with us and updates whenever anything has occurred. Our 20month old is definitely a force to reckon with and forever challenging physics. The ladies in the toddler room are fantastic at supporting him through his growth and development (and keeping us informed of his many a falls). Thank you!

My son has been here for the past six months, everyone is really lovely and supportive. Education plans are very good, and children are encouraged to develop at their own rate. We have loved being here!

If you need a daycare centre that looks after your children as if they were their own, Milestones Early Learning The Lakes is where you need to go! I feel secure knowing that this team is looking after my brood. Thanks guys, you are doing an awesome job!!

I have visited this Centre many times and each time it just gets better and better! Servio, The Centre manager is happy, warm and friendly. He makes you feel so welcome. Mel, The Assistant Centre Manager is so helpful and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is looked after and happy. The team of Educators are thoughtful and respectful. They are amazing in their roles and all I see is smiles and positivity!

If I could rate this centre more than 5 stars I would! The centre is always clean and organised no matter what time of day you walk in. My son has learned an incredible amount in the time he’s been there and it’s all thanks to the best educators ever. Our family doesn’t feel like just another number, and all the friendly faces working there continue to make sure of that!
