DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They failed to enrol our daughter correctly and did not submit any session reports to Centerlink. 4 months later Centerlink contacted us to say our childcare had been cancelled. When we contacted Milestones head office to say that our childcare subsidy had been cancelled by Centrelink, Milestones said there was a glitch in the system, and we had nothing to be worried about. This was a blatant lie and not correct, as we knew that the session reports had not been submitted. Then, once Milestones submitted the session reports they were advised that our childcare subsidy hours had been reduced from 100 to 72 hours. This was news to us as we were approved for 100 hours. If Milestones had done their job properly and submitted the session reports on time, we would have been aware of the increased costs immediately and could have contacted Centrelink and requested an increase in hours. Instead, they submitted the reports 4 months late and then they sent us an invoice for $4,350 being the difference in the hours. We complained about what had happened. They made no apologies and blamed it all on Centerlink. But this has nothing to do with Centerlink. If Milestones had sent the session reports in on time straight after our daughter’s commencement (and not 4 months later) we would have been aware of the reduced hours at the start and been able to budget for this extra cost weekly, and we could have contacted Centerlink. Instead, Milestones gave us an invoice 4 months later for this accumulated amount of $4,350 and expected us to pay for their failure to do their job properly. There have been no apologies from Milestones for submitting the session reports late – in fact the session reports were not submitted until our childcare subsidy was completely cancelled. Then we had to go through the whole process of reapplying, which took days. And still no apologies for this situation as well.

We absolutely love Elly & her team at Milestones Sunshine Beach! We recently moved here from Belgium and the educators really put in so much effort to make our young kids feel at home in their care and in Australia in general. Our kids didn’t speak any English, but that didn’t pose any problems since the educators found wonderful solutions every time. So we definitely recommend this amazing place to anyone! Great educators, great activities, great food, great team leader Elly & just a great place! We always feel welcome as parents and there are ample opportunities to have a chat about our kids. Thank you so much for taking care of our children in such a wonderful way!

My family has just started at Milestones and I couldn't be more happy. Our little boy who use to get so scared at going to day care and use to make himself sick. Is now one happy little boy even my husband is over the moon that his little man is coming home happy. We owe it all to the centre manager Elly and all the educators in the Prekindy room. Loving Milestones. The facilities are new and Elly and the teachers are super lovely. My son is learning how to be more independent and I can see amazing changes each week.

Good experience with the Milestones Sunshine Beach The team lead by Elly at the truly deserves commendation for their good care. Elly’s speedy replies make communication effortless, ensuring parents like myself feel supported and informed every step of the way. Whenever my child needs extra cuddles during drop-offs, Elly annd Christina (room lead) are there with open arms, providing comfort and reassurance. It's heartwarming to witness their genuine care and attentiveness.

Our twin daughters have been attending this daycare for nearly a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the friendly service they provide! The staff are very kind and caring with tonnes of play and activity ideas which they bring out everyday to entice our little ones. Management are ‘on the ball’ and organised. No stone is left unturned and as parents, we feel heard and respected in our decisions and requests. Our children’s needs, likes/dislikes and interests are catered for and we are kept up to date with the development and progress through the Storypark app and regular chats with the educators. The centre itself is modern, clean, welcoming and the toys look well-looked after and new. Nothing broken, old or damaged in sight. Our children love going as the environment is warm, welcoming and makes them feel like they are going from one home to the other. They come home covered in paint, mud and adventure as they participate in so many exciting activities and have a great time! They also love the food which the centre provides and we are regularly told that they go back for seconds! We are very happy with the service and will be very sad when they have to leave one day! My two boys 8 months and 3 years, attend this service. Elly is very professional and displays outstanding professionalism whilst the rest of the team are attentive and nurturing. The centre is always clean and homely as well as the team are bubbly. Thank you team Sunshine!

We recently moved interstate and Milestones have assisted in making the transition for our 20 month old son as smooth as possible. We instantly felt a warm, friendly welcome as we visited the centre. Elly and the educators have gone above and beyond to understand our child’s needs and nurture his interests as he adapts to his new environment. We would highly recommend Milestones for anyone considering early learning on the Sunshine Coast.

The team at Milestones Sunshine Beach have been exceptional welcoming our 10month old into daycare. The nurturing staff have made a daunting experience a loving one, even providing updates throughout the day to keep our minds at ease during the first period of settling in. Thankyou team. Friendly and dedicated team and a lovely atmosphere for learning and play

My two girls have settled in nicely into their new daycare/ kindy, thanks to the attentive and caring educators. The groups per class are an intimate size, giving the kids plenty of one on one attention. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone.

Extremely bad experience, I do not recommend Milestones Early Learning company. I been overcharged many times, and keep charging me, even my kids not there last 5 months.

My grandson attends Milestones Sunshine Beach and I love that the team go the extra mile to share about his day. Love getting the updates each day from afar.
