My family experience with this restaurant has been appalling to say the least. There was a billing mistake made by the waitress. The reverse transaction obviously was done incorrectly or something and my son who paid the bill for our meal was not reimbursed for the original incorrect billing.
Despite several telephone calls and 2 emails my son is still awaiting his refund now nearly 4.5 weeks ago. This is totally unacceptable.
The meal we had on the night was nothing exceptional, you could do better elsewhere and if you do go here double check your bill before paying as you probably wont get your money back if there is a billing mistake I would not recommend and I will not be returning.

Each dish was stunningly presented in a different style plate or vessel in true Japanese Kaiseki tradition, and the flavours were delicious. Service was very friendly, hospitable and professional.

The two Thai staff members, both male and female, were absolutely lovely and provided excellent service. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.
The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and definitely great value for money. We also received some complimentary treats, which was such a lovely touch!
Highly recommend MEE SO — great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back! 😊
I went in to ask about the halal-certified food advertised on the website but was told that the food is not prepared in a halal way. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you’re specifically looking for halal food.
The fathers day menu was incredible! DIY handrolls with chef Dennis, followed by the most delicious and soft beef rib.
Incredibly friendly and warm service. Was overall very impressed.

Chef Dennis was very cordial and attentive; we really liked it, as he offers a very complete menu. Ingrid was also very helpful and attentive.

Good breakfast
The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The breakfast staff were very friendly—especially Ingrid, who was very attentive this morning; she helped us with several things we were unsure about, as we speak Spanish rather than English. We really appreciated this, as it made it very easy for us to get our bearings and choose what we wanted to eat. The food was well-presented, tasty, and served at the right temperature; I will certainly have breakfast at this hotel again.

We were about to leave Sydney and wanted one last meal close to our hotel before heading home. We came across Mee So, and it turned out to be a great find.
The food was delicious, came out quickly, and was the perfect way to end our trip. The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
One thing that really stood out was the interactive game built into the table. Our little one absolutely loved it and became completely hooked while waiting for the food. It kept him entertained, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable for us as parents.
If you’re staying nearby and looking for a tasty meal in a family-friendly setting, Mee So is definitely worth a visit.
