Great experience with Mike’s coastal. Very competent and very good equipment. What a great day! Beautiful weather and experience. Our tour guides Buzz and his faithful companion J.J were knowledgeable and fun! Saw dolphins putting on a spectacular display including Flips, tail swats and show off moves. Plenty of bird sightings and just all out great day!

Great family adventure We did the deluxe hobie paddle kayak with our two kids, 7 and 11 and it was a great experience. We saw a lot of birds and fish and loved stopping by Hickory Island to swim at the beach. Buzz and his dog JJ where delightful tour guides and Buzz took a lot of pictures for us which allowed us to just focus on the experience.

Awesome kayak adventure! Had the best time ever on the hobie kayaks! Buzz was so informative and educated on the natural landscape of Hickory Island. We explored the mangroves, private beach, and even got to see some dolphins right up close! Perfect amount of time, worth the price! Perfect for the family, my grandmother and teen brother had a blast! It was just us on the tour, so perfect! JJ the dog was also the cutest addition! Thanks so much!

Kids loved it If you’re at all nervous about kayaking, the Hobies are the way to go. The foot pedals and dial steering make the kayaks so effortless to operate, nearly anyone can do this excursion, including first-timers. The beach where we watched the sunset was gorgeous, and a great spot to get in some quick family pictures, and although we didn’t see much wildlife on the way back, the kids thought the glowing lights were super cool.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! Our guide, Mike who is also the owner was truly exceptional. From the moment we started, his kindness and genuine passion for what he does really stood out. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in a way that made the experience both fun and meaningful. What impressed me most was how seriously he took everyone’s safety while still making sure we had a great time. He never rushed us, made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and created such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate. I highly, highly recommend this tour and especially Mike. You can really tell he loves what he does and it shows
