My wife cannot rate Mark and Chrissy high enough. Chrissy for her organisation and help in the admin stages and Mark - wow what a surgeon! This is my 3rd boob surgery (2 done elsewhere). I had implants placed by Mr Solomos 11 years ago, and they continued to look fantastic with no issues at all.
After turning 50, I decided it was the right time to have them removed and undergo an uplift.

Mark Solomos was recommended to us via Emma Kelliher who was part of his working team years before. Emma raved about his skills as a surgeon and that he was a terrific person who really cared about his patients. That was good enough for me to book my son into see him for a consultation for a tummy tuck. Jake then had his surgery not long after.
My son Jake, had lost 8 stone in weight and was left with a hanging stomach and sides. This excess skin obviously left him being as self-conscious as being 8 stone heavier. From our first meeting with Mark we were confident that the surgery would be a success and were given realistic outcome expectations and recovery time-lines. (I had a plastic surgery procedure in the past and had come to realise that you actually only know how good a surgeon is if you have any issues afterwards). My son Jake did have a few drainage issues after surgery which can happen to a few people. However, Mark and his assistant Christine were always on the end of the phone to answer any questions and give advice - even over the Christmas holidays.
We did have to go back and see Mark for some extra drainage on a couple occasions and were always seen within a few days of concern and were always met with a smile and he sorted it out there and then without fuss. (When I had to revisit my surgeon, he made me feel like I had done something wrong and was hostile to say the least which was horrible).
The tummy tuck has completed my son's life transformation and the results are amazing. We cannot thank Mark, Christine and all the staff at the Highgate Hospital enough for their contribution in helping Jake achieve his final goal. I cannot praise Mark’s skills enough as a surgeon. He really is a truly genuine guy who does care about his patients.

Implant Removal, Breast Uplift, Abdomiplasty & Liposuction
I wanted to give a big shout out to Mr Mark Solomos, Christine Blake and the rest of the team for the wonderful care I received from them. After developing severe en capsulation of my right implant as a result of radiotherapy for breast cancer I was advised by several doctors the only option was to have the implants removed. Mark was the only surgeon prepared to remove them and offer an uplift. All other doctors said an uplift would be too risky and could lead to severe complications. Mark was honest about the risks but was confident he could manage the risks and deal with any eventuality’s. I had the operation to remove the implants, lift the breasts, fix a hernia, a tummy tuck and liposuction at the end of January at the Highgate Hospital. The operation went well and I spent just one night in hospital. I felt very safe in Marks hands and he and his patient care manager explained everything to me along the the way and during my recovery. The results of the operation exceeded all my expectations. I was able to return to work after two weeks and five weeks later I was able to go skiing and felt fitter and more body confident than I have in years. Less than three months later the scarring is virtually invisible. If you are considering surgery I would highly recommend Mark

Before this rhinoseptoplasty for my deviated septum I couldn’t breathe though my nose 95% of the time, it felt like I had a cold for the past 4 years as it got worse. I would get out of breathe eating and talking and I couldn’t smell anything either. Now I can breathe through it all the time and I don’t have to breathe through my mouth anymore, I can smell. And Dr Solomos also performed a rhinoplasty on it even though it was complicated to begin with so now my nose is much more aesthetic from the side profile. It was a life changing surgery.
