Just had the LOVELIEST visit to Mamou. A nice selection of wool, notions, project bags, etc, and gift items. Natalie (along with her sweet dog!) was SO helpful and friendly! Left with some soft yarn for a cowl, a hand woven basket, and yet another project bag :) Will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous yarn and gifts shop! Also was able to snag these sock knitting circular needles which are so hard to find!!
Surprisingly great yarn variety for such a small space.
The owner is an incredibly sweet woman who loves what she does and it shows! She also makes her own amigurumi amongst other little things that she sells in the shop as well :)
She sells other ready made yarn goods like little bags, baby clothes, slippers, etc. As well as kits to make your own. She also sells a small variety of beautiful little things « gift shop » style.
Absolutely love this place and it’s my new go-to for all things yarn!

Je me suis retrouve par hasard chez Mamou, une ravissante boutique tenue par Nathalie a Pointe Saint Charles. Des que j’y ai mis les pieds, j’ai compris que je venais de decouvrir un petit cocon chaleureux, tricote de bienveillance. La boutique, un melange charmant de fils de qualite, d’idees cadeaux et de creations artisanales uniques, est veritablement un adorable petit coin de bonheur.
Nathalie m’a accueilli avec beaucoup de chaleur et m’a ecoute avec patience lorsque je lui ai confie que j’aimais la broderie. A ma grande surprise, elle m’a offert une aiguille et du fil, gratuitement, juste comme ca. J’ai eu l’impression qu’elle me tendait un petit morceau d’amitie de voisinage.
Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, Nathalie m’a glisse la carte d’un fleuriste tout proche, une attention delicate qui revelait son esprit de soutien et de communaute. Sa gentillesse, sa delicatesse et sa vraie convivialite ont rallume en moi une petite etincelle de foi en l’humanite.
Merci Nathalie — ta bienveillance a vraiment illumine ma journee.

Trés jolie boutique, ayant un grand choix de laine et de fils de qualité , et plusieurs objets, cadeaux, choisis avec beaucoup de goût, aussi des vêtements et des articles en crochet trop mignons faits par la propriétaire qui est une femme adorable généreuse de son temps et de ses conseils, elle a pris le temps de m'expliquer et répondre à mes questions sur le crochet. Je recommande fortement .

Supeeeerrrrr mignon comme shop! :) Je suis allé pour acheter de la laine comme cadeau - les prix et sélections étaient pas mal bons aussi! Natalie est super sympa et gentille - I highly recommend. They also have some really pretty handmade cards as well!
