Great customizable boat charter in the keys
Captain Eric Grandcourt took us on an amazing tour today. Sandbars, mangroves and dolphins. He went out of his way, rescheduled another charter, to take us and accommodate the needs of a family member with disabilities. He felt his boat had the best configuration. Thank you, Captain Eric
Captain Eric was a complete joy to have lead out boat day out in Key West. Very knowledgeable, patient, funny, and impeccable music taste :) he brought lunches and encouraged a good time across visiting old island forts, snorkeling sunken ships, finding dolphins, and more! Highly recommend.

We had less than ideal weather for our trip so Eric communicated with us well before the excursion to see what we would like to do based on the weather. We chose to modify our trip, and we are so thankful we did. Eric was a wonderful guide/captain that showed us around despite the winds. The kids, my husband, and myself had a wonderful trip. We would highly recommend!

Eric was the best! Friendly, knowledgeable and a great captain. We went on a sandbar cruise with my 70+ yr old father, plus our 6 and 2.5 year old and everything was great. Beautiful scenery and were able to do a short snorkel, then hit up the sandbar with a swim and multiple floats from Eric. 100% would book again.

Second trip, same awesome experience!
Booked another trip with Eric for a day filled with sun, water, and adventure. We had our first experience with Laid Back Key West in November of 2017 when we took our then much younger kids (15, 13, 13) and had an awesome time and fantastic service. Just had another trip with our kids and their significant others with Laid Back Key West this March and again Eric and the experience was fantastic. He does such a great job at planning the day and working with you on what you want to experience. Everyone had a great time and we will again book next time we are back in Key West. Thanks so much Laid Back Key West for another great day on the water!
Great charter for a guys trip to Key West and wanted a low key afternoon of some fishing and sandbar time. Capt. Eric was great. I do a lot of charters - some pretty serious fishing - but my crew was more casual about it and wanted a variety of activities. If you looking for a balance of fishing and family (friend) time, a fully custom day with Capt. Eric allows you find the right balance. Next time I'll be hitting him up for a serious day of fishing too - as he was on the money putting us on fish! New and clean gear - all around one of the better charters I've done.

We had an amazing day! Weather wasn't great but still enjoyed great tunes, comfortable seats and accomodations while seeing sharks, dolphins and a sea turtle! Walked the beach at the sand bar and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on our way home. Loved all the conversation and answers to silly questions. An amazing way to explore the keys. Well worth the cost.

Private Charter to and from the Dry Tortugas
Captain Chris did a remarkable job securing the ideal boat for our charter to the Dry Tortugas. The private trip to and from Dry Tortugas with Captain Eric on his boat was wonderful. Cruising on the ocean on a lovely day was a truly incredible experience. We enjoyed exploring Fort Jefferson and swimming at Loggerhead Keys. On our return to Key West, we were lucky enough to spot some dolphins. We appreciate Captain Eric for ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey.
we went fishing for 3 days with Eric and it was excellent. Fishing was tough but he found them for us and we had a great experience. Great person to hang out and spend the day on a boat. Would highly recommend him.

Capt. Eric was awesome. The waters were a bit rough, and he called ahead of time to give us the chance to cancel, which I've never had a charter do. Plus, we still caught a lot of fish and had a fun time. Will definitely be back

Eric was amazing!!!!!! He knew everything about everything! Sharks? Found them! Dolphins? Found them! Shells? Found them! Fish/snorkeling? Found them!!!!! My first trip to Key West…We rented Eric for 4 hours and I feel like I know everything about Key West !! Truly amazing. Great tour. Great/clean boat….. no negatives!

Our trip to The Dry Tortugas National Park with Captain Eric was absolutely amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, very personable, and had the best playlist for the trip. His boat is immaculate and was very comfortable! The snorkeling was just beautiful. I can’t imagine a more perfect day…one which we will reminisce about for a long time. We took our boat out today and rolled up on a fishing hole where Capt. Eric had a charter. We were about 5 feet from the action and Capt. Eric was so kind and gave us some tips to get on fish. He didn’t have to help us, but we were so appreciative of his kindness. I just wanted to acknowledge that not only does he know what he’s doing, but he’s a solid human being. Thanks for making our fishing day so much fun.
