Buyer Beware
I purchased a home through Kehoe Auctioneer.
Eoin Kehoe handled the sale of his uncle Ian Kehoe's home in County Kildare.
It was an abandoned, derelict farmhouse with outbuildings, which Eoin had promoted as "idyllic" and "a dream come true."
What neither Eoin nor Ian had disclosed, verbally or in any of the sale documentation about the property, was that Ian had signed a contract with a solar company prior to listing the house, that would enable the house to be surrounded ON THREE SIDES by solar panels, as far as the eye could see.
I did not learn about this industrial solar farm, that would engulf and overwhelm my new home until the head of the solar company himself told me.
He was "shocked" that Eoin and Ian had kept the information from me.
I could say much, much more on this topic, but what I will say is that there are several other honest and transparent auctioneers in this area, and you will not lose your investment and end up feeling deeply deceived.

We had an excellent experience buying our house with Kehoe's. We had been looking for a while and had met other estate agents and Florin really stood out. He was so helpful at every step, whether arranging extra viewings while we were deciding or for help with the process once we'd gone sale agreed.
I couldn't recommend him and Kehoe's in general (where Eoin was also a huge help) enough. It can be a tough process and decision buying a home and they made everything very easy while never being pushy or salesy.

Florin did valuation of our house for the mortgage renewal. Whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The lady in the office (which I didn't catch the name) answered my call at 5.30pm (closing time) and she still took her time to explain what I need for valuation.
