I’m very sorry that our accessible lift was out of service during your visit. We are currently awaiting the required parts so it can be repaired as soon as possible.

We do have an accessible ramp at the side of the hotel, and I sincerely apologise that this alternative access was not explained to you. Our team should have made this clear and offered assistance.

I was on standby for a flight to Brisbane. I had breakfast lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The pastries served as the continental breakfast tasted freshly baked and the scrambled eggs were perfect. Happy hour was extremely pleasant on the balcony with live music despite the soft rain. My evening meal was the chefs recommendation and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In future trips I will make this a must do venue. Thank you.

28 Sept Public holiday night. Waitress was not welcoming & did the bare minimum. When I asked her a Q re a menu option she replied "I don't know" with no indication she would try to find out. Male waiter was fine. 3 out of 4 dishes were fine BUT spaghetti was gluggy - impossible to separate the strands, just golf ball size clumps. Seriously disappointing ESP for an Italian restaurant.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry that your experience with us on the public holiday was disappointing.

Our team should always be welcoming and willing to find an accurate answer when asked about gluten-free options. Simply saying “I don’t know” without seeking assistance is not the level of service we expect. I’m also sorry the spaghetti was clumped together and not prepared to the standard expected from an Italian restaurant.

Although I’m pleased three of the four dishes were enjoyable and that one of our waiters looked after you well, these issues clearly affected the overall evening. I will review your feedback with both our restaurant and kitchen teams.

Dined here for our Wedding Anniversary tonight. Pretty disappointing, and very average. We both had pasta dishes, my wife’s prawn spaghetti was gluggy & very overcooked, my lamb ragu had no olives or ricotta salata as read on the menu. Garlic bread & salad were also very ordinary. We both had a glass of Xanadu red, which was probably the highlight of the night, only to find when we left that we got charged for 2 large glasses of wine at $21 a glass, instead of the $13 glass that we actually ordered. Came here many many years ago when we were 1st dating & it was beautiful. Would not return.

While walking around our hotel we went past a holiday inn with a nice looking Italian restaurant. We gave it a try and it turned out to be good. They have a nice menu and drinks bar. There is outside seating and several rooms inside. The food and drinks were good. Not very busy but the service was good and meals delivered quickly.

The worst lunch experience you can get. My family and I ordered a pizza and waited a long time with nothing arriving. When I finally walked towards the open kitchen and asked what was going on, I was told directly by the manager that the pizza was "in the oven" even though I can clearly see them just starting to make it. I went back to my seat. Two minutes later, a waitress came and told us they are now about to cook the pizza and also confirmed the order was placed 16 minutes ago. There were at least 5 kitchen staff and 3 waitstaff walking around doing nothing in this empty restaurant that had only 1 other table. For a restaurant operating inside a Holiday Inn, this was one of the most incompetent, dishonest displays I've ever encountered. One would be so stupid to visit this place.

Extremely disappointed with my experience here. I ordered the Aussie BBQ Chicken Pizza after seeing the photo posted by the owner, but what was served to me was incredibly misleading. First, for a pizza specifically marketed as a "chicken" pizza, mine came with literally only two pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. The photo provided by the restaurant shows a plentiful, generous amount of chicken, so receiving something this bare was absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse, the pizza was severely overbaked. The crust was burnt, leaving the entire thing tasting completely dry and unpleasantly bitter. Between the severe lack of toppings and the poor quality of the cook, I absolutely cannot recommend this dish or this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Very disappointing dining experience, I called the restaurant & asked about the Winter atmosphere with an open fire & was told they light their fireplaces on Friday’s & Saturday evenings unless there is a weather emergency. Tonight we had dinner there, Heating on, no clear skies, think they just couldn’t be bothered lighting the fires. Food was very average, so disappointed as it was my husband’s birthday & he is a very good cook , so I chose Julio’s expecting a great meal.
