Very good tour company, professional and friendly. We did the bioluminescent tour, and it was a neat experience!
Unfortunately we don't have any pictures because it doesn't photograph well at all, but it was definitely a unique experience to see the little glows in the water.
I highly recommend swimming in the water. You can't see it as much from the boat. But also note that it doesn't glow as much as you see in some posted pictures - I think the blue glows in a lot of the pictures are from slow-resolution cameras, etc.

We visited Puerto Rico with two other families, and watching the bioluminescent bay was at the top of our must-do list—especially for the kids. Unfortunately, we hadn’t booked the tour in advance and were struggling to find availability. That’s when we discovered Joy Tours, and thankfully, there were a few spots left, just enough for the kids.
However, our children really wanted all of us to experience it together. That’s when Captain Jose went above and beyond. He took the initiative, rearranged schedules, and made it possible for all three families to go on the tour together.
From the reservation process to the actual tour, Captain Jose was incredibly thoughtful, accommodating, and professional. The experience was unforgettable, and it wouldn’t have been possible without his help.

What an amazing experience! The waters glowed bright in a new moon night and were very warm. Our captain Jose was fantastic- knowledgeable and welcoming. He took our picture in the water and it turned out great. Fully recommend! Thank you.

jose (owner) was so sweet and patient while truly going out of his way to make sure i had all the information i needed to feel comfortable in booking.
from start to finish, this was the best experience EVER.
i wish i remembered the name of our captain on the morning of 5/13 but he was AWESOME! it really felt like we were hanging out with only family, which was nice since it was my birthday and at no point did it feel awkward or forced because a stranger was around.
the vibes were immediately on point and stayed that that for the entirety of our day with him!
i will definitely be booking my water related excursions exclusively with joy tours moving forwards.

This was a day to remember! The weather, water, and guide, Jose, were perfection. The whole experience was so easy from start to finish. All we had to do was sit back and relax! Even our parents who are 74 were able to stay in the water for hours! It was so much fun to snorkel and see the sea life up close. Jose was a great host and very friendly - he felt like a part of the family!
