The food is amazing. We heard about this place from several people. The food did not disappoint. The service however was very poor. We were there an hour before closing, there was a line out the door but the girl cleaning tables would not allow us to sit in an area that others were already sitting and eating. We understand they were probably trying to close up for the day but in this instance, communicating....actual words would have worked more than just "no you can't sit here".

We do want to clarify that as we approach closing, certain sections of our seating area are cleaned and closed off for the evening, even while other customers are still finishing their meals.

The employee you encountered speaks limited English, which may explain why she wasn’t able to communicate that clearly. She was simply following our closing procedures and wasn’t trying to be rude or unwelcoming.

Hi Dawn,

We are sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy our lobster pie. We did want to clarify that all of the ingredients are fully cooked before the dish is assembled. Our lobster pie is made with warm buttered lobster meat, our lobster bisque, and a topping of buttered breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. The bisque is intentionally added to give the dish a rich, creamy consistency.

If you’re looking for a dish where the lobster itself is the star of the show, we’d recommend our lobster roll, which focuses on freshly cooked lobster meat without the additional ingredients found in our lobster pie.

We’re sorry this particular dish wasn’t to your liking, but we appreciate you giving us a try.

Amazing and delicious lobster rolls! They are well served, definitely more lobster than bread. The flavor is a 10 out of 10. Sooo worth the price. We’ll definitely be back before going back home. FYI, avoid the place opposite of it. Definitely not as good as this one. Avoid the disappointment, you’re welcome!

Just paid $60 (with tip) for a small cup of soup and little lobster roll, oh and also to be yelled at for trying to leave the same way I had come in five minutes prior. It was 4:30 and they close at 5:00 so they were eager to lock the place down and they made it clear that us last few customers of the day were mere annoyances.

We’re sorry to hear that you left with this impression, but we’d like to clarify a few things.

Our business closes at 5:00 PM, and beginning at 4:30 PM, all food orders are packaged to go as we begin our normal closing procedures. One of our doors is also locked at that time, with customers directed to use the designated entrance and exit.

These procedures are not intended to rush anyone or make customers feel unwelcome. We continue serving customers until our posted closing time, and being busy with closing responsibilities should not be mistaken for considering customers an annoyance.

Our lobster rolls are made with fresh lobster meat, and our pricing reflects the quality of the seafood we serve. Gratuity is also entirely optional.

We appreciate your visit, but we do feel it’s important to distinguish our normal closing procedures from an unwillingness to serve customers.

Loved it! We drove to it, so that was murder, but there was a place to park in the little lot (we got there at 1030am). It was a beautiful sunny day to sit outside. We ordered all our favorites - the bisque, the Maine roll and crabcake. All was delicious and the food was out in less than 5 minutes. For everyone saying the roll has no flavor, you’re supposed to taste the lobster. Maybe you don’t actually like lobster, just herbs and seasonings?
