Such a wonderful yoga studio! The instructors are knowledgeable, kind, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The space is peaceful, clean, and welcoming, and the classes are a perfect balance of relaxing and challenging. I always leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and energized. Highly recommend!
The most genuine studio for the authentic yoga practice. Each instructor, however, has a personal style, making this a great place for learning from different teachers.

There is not a better center in New York for yoga and meditation. There is such kindness, warmth, and love in the center. The yoga classes are fabulous with very seasoned teachers. The meditations are wonderful.
The Bhagavad-Gita classes by Swami Asokananda bring a needed dose of groundedness, wisdom, and balance among the NYC high energy.
Lastly, I love the sound baths and Reiki sessions! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new yoga studio. It’s not flashy, but it is truly the authentic path of Yoga.
The transition under the new ownership has been an absolute disaster.
Phones go unanswered. Emails are ignored. Communication is virtually nonexistent.
Today, I ran to make it to class on time only to miss it because no one was at the front desk to let members in. I understand that staff need restroom breaks, but if class starts at 10:00 a.m., there needs to be coverage. Having no one available at the exact time class begins is a preventable management failure.
I’ve emailed, called, left messages, and spoken to staff in person. Days go by without a response, and no one returns calls within a reasonable timeframe. At this point, I feel completely ignored.
The most frustrating part is that there are only a limited number of classes each week appropriate for my level. Last week one was canceled, and this week I missed another because the studio wasn’t staffed. I’m paying for a membership but not receiving the service I’m paying for.
There are some wonderful teachers here, and they deserve recognition. Unfortunately, they can’t overcome the poor management. The overall experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and incredibly unprofessional.
I have requested a refund and have received no meaningful response. If this isn’t resolved, I’ll have no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank.
I genuinely wanted this studio to succeed, but until the communication, staffing, and management improve, I cannot recommend it. If I could give zero stars, I would.

After reviewing your account, we did not find a registration on record for the 10:00 AM class you referenced. We want you to know that, if we did, I am sure our front desk staff would have waited for you in accordance with our lateness policy. Additionally, we are unable to locate any recent emails from you regarding class cancellations prior to your refund request. Had we received a message about canceled classes, we certainly would have been happy to offer either a class credit or a refund.
We value open communication and strive to ensure every student feels welcomed, supported, and heard. We regret that our communication during this period of transition fell short of the experience we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused you.

Tom Brennan’s class is, as he refers to it, a “moving meditation “. He guides us through each pose pairing the breath, to promote focus, flow, and oneness. A communal energy in the class makes this a profound experience.
