It all started with the excellent management by Berta. From the very first moment, you can feel that the club is run with high standards, focusing on great service and a welcoming atmosphere that gives you confidence even before you get into the water.
My instructor, Marina, was simply phenomenal. She is incredibly professional, very patient, and radiated a sense of calm from the second we started. Thanks to her close and attentive guidance, I was able to let go of my fears and simply enjoy the experience.
The thing that stood out to me the most was the focus on safety – at Ihasia, it comes before everything else, which gave me immense peace of mind as a beginner diver. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try diving, especially beginners looking for a 'safe bet' and top-tier instruction in a family-like atmosphere. Muy buenos buceos con ihasia diving, con el instructor español David! Luego de dictar la clase teórica Muy bien explicada, nos sumergimos en 5 tipos de buceos diferentes, dónde nos brindo mucha seguridad, tranquilidad y buena onda! Muy buen servicio, atención y los cursos que brindan son muy didácticos y accesibles, luego de las inversiones hasta nos regalaron una remera, muy recomendable! Si van a bucear en koh tao no duden en hacerlo con ihasia diving!

A special thank you to Marina – she is an excellent instructor. She made me feel safe and comfortable at all times and took the time to explain everything patiently.
What really stood out was how much the school prioritizes safety. When our group needed more support, they even provided two instructors for two days, which almost felt like one-on-one guidance. That level of care is rare and made a big difference.
The whole team was very understanding, supportive, and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Hemos hecho el curso Open Water con Hugo y ha sido una pasada! Lo hemos pasado genial a la vez que hemos aprendido un montón! Merece muchísimo la pena! 😊 En el curso solo estábamos mi novio y yo, así que nos podía corregir mucho más los errores que en un grupo grande de gente y nos hizo sentir más seguros, incluso cuando había Triger Fish cerca jaja Muchas gracias por todo! A truly personal and amazing experience for our first diving course! We took the Open Water course and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The Management: The manager, Berta, provided the best service we could have asked for. She was incredibly professional and considerate, making sure all our options remained open. She understood that diving can be intimidating for some, and she went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and had the flexibility to decide what was right for us without any pressure.
The Club & Equipment: The dive center is run like clockwork. Everything is perfectly organized and planned down to the smallest detail. You can see they take great care of their equipment—it’s well-maintained and in excellent condition, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.
The Staff & Instruction: Even though the team is Spanish, their English is excellent and communication was easy and smooth. Our instructor, marina, was absolutely amazing! She was professional, kind, and incredibly patient. She always had a smile on her face and made us feel safe and supported throughout the entire process.
If you’re looking for a diving school that combines professionalism with a warm, personal touch, IHASIA is the place to go. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Mi pareja y yo decidimos realizar submarinismo en Ihasia con Carla como instructora ya que veníamos recomendados.
Por mí parte, no me importaba hacer submarinismo un día pero era algo reacia a sacarme el Open Water por la anterior experiencia que tuve en un bautizo en España, dónde sufrí de bastante dolor de oído al compensar en el descenso.
Le expliqué a Carla mi inquietud y fue muy flexible ofreciendo la opción del centro de realizar el Open en 2 días, en vez de en 3 y, si no me convencía el primer día, podía quedarse en un bautizo más. Acepté y estoy muy muy agradecida, el trato ha sido sublime, se nota que Carla tiene años de experiencia con el buceo, es divertida y explica la teoría de una forma muy amena y fácil. Y, a destacar, no he sufrido nada de dolor ya que los descensos han sido al ritmo que he necesitado, y el hecho de que te expliquen bien por qué pasa y cómo remediarlo, hace que puedas controlar más la situación.
Además, me he visto capaz de hacer ejercicios debajo del agua que antes pensaba que no lograría, gracias a la paciencia y seguridad que transmite Carla. Ha sido una pasada tenerla como instructora y nos lo hemos pasado genial con ella.
Recomiendo muchísimo el Open Water pero todavía más a Carla, que encima nos ha hecho el curso en catalán!! Un plaer immens 🥰👌🏻🦈🐋🐠🦑🪸

Me hace especial ilusión leer vuestra experiencia, sobre todo sabiendo que venías con ese respeto (totalmente normal) por una mala experiencia anterior. Al final, cada persona necesita su ritmo y su tiempo bajo el agua, y cuando se hace así… todo cambia 😊
Carla: experiencia, paciencia y buen rollo todo en uno! Y lo de hacerlo en catalán ya es el combo completo 😄 Le voy a pasar vuestro mensaje porque le va a hacer muchísima ilusión.

He fet l’open water i he de dir que fer el curs en català a l’altre punta del món no té preu.
Ens van donar l’opció de realizar-ho en 2 dies (4 inmersions en total).
La Carla és una crack, molt dinàmica i amena durant la teoría.
Durant les inmersions vam veure un munt de peixos diferents, taurons de punta negre, rayes de diferents tipus, barracudes, balenes pilot, etc.
Us ho recomano 100%.
Un placer haber buceado con David, se le ve que es alguien que le apasiona el buceo y enseñar a la gente. Muy atento, sabe calmar y hacerte sentir seguro bajo el agua!!

An awesome place to try scuba diving without any experience!
We felt incredibly taken care of from the beginning. Berta has patiently answered all of our questions online before our arrival. Our instructor Andre was very knowledgeable and thorough. He didn’t just give us rules to remember but explained why they are important.
Unfortunately we could complete the full Open water course due to health issues but the school allowed us to pay only for the part that we’ve completed. It’s a very wise strategy. If we had to pay for the full course and not be able to complete it, we would be pretty set against diving in general. But now we are eager to fix our health issues and try again!

Tolle Tauchschule! Musste wegen Ohrenschmerzen meine Pläne kurzfristig ändern, das war aber gar kein Problem. Hatte tolle Dives mit professionellen Instructors. Habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt!

Super contenta! Gracias a tener a Carla y a Santi de instructores disfrutamos de la experiencia muchísimo, incluso habiendo momentos donde la adrenalina se nos disparó por el ataque de un triggerfish. Hemos visto peces de todo tipos y colores, además de las aguas más azules que hemos visto en nuestra vida. Seguro que no olvidamos esta experiencia nunca, muchas gracias!! :)

Una experiencia increíble sacarse el curso de open water con esta escuela, y sobretodo con los monitores Carla y Santi, un trato muy cercano y sobretodo la seguridad que te dan para bucear, pura felicidad.

El año pasado hice un bautizo este año vine a sacarme el Open Water. Esto ha sido posible gracias a lo segura que me han hecho sentir, lo profesionales que son a la vez que buen rolleros. Te hacen sentir una más. En especial gracias a Marina y a Santi por como me han hecho sentir tanto dentro como fuera del agua y por hacer posible mi Open Water. Repito 100% y recomendado a todo el mundo que pase por Koh Tao :)
