Siding looked great until it rained, rain came underneath siding through the window into the house, I have reached out to Mike several times, in reference to getting this repaired, every time it rains, I have rain inside my house, because the fascia was not replaced back properly. Pictures are displaced of what needs to be done, per gutter technician. gutters were installed, less than a year ago, they were damaged also by Ideal Siding work crew.

Last year my wife and I bought a 41-year-old home in South Charlotte that had the original real cedar lap siding. While beautiful when maintained properly, unfortunately the previous owner had let the cedar siding slip into a state of disrepair in several areas. We knew what we were getting ourselves into with the siding needing some work but figured we would be able to repair the damage. We met with Michael at Ideal, and he helped to educate us that based on repair vs whole home replacement costs, it may be in our best interests long term (albeit more expensive at the moment) to do a complete replace job on our home. While a bit of a surprise at first, the more we thought about it, the more his logic made sense. Based on his recommendation, we decided to do an entire replacement job in James Hardie product which in essence comes with a "free" paint job. The James Hardie products have a fantastic reputation and warranty to boot. At that point we did not sign up with Ideal right away. Not a knock-on Michael or Ideal at all, we just wanted to do our homework for such a large expenditure and compare a few estimates/vendors. All in, we got 4 written estimates for the job. Once we were able to compare the 4 written estimates side by side and also take into account intangible qualities such as customer services/vendor responsiveness/professionalism/etc., we decided Ideal was the right choice for us and signed up with Michael. Ideal also offers a very strong workmanship warranty on their installation work. Not only was Ideal's quote one of the most reasonable we received (not here to knock any local vendors, but one big name in town was close to double), they even came down a couple thousand in the end to price-match a lower priced quote we received. It's also worth mentioning here, at no time in this process did we feel pressured or like we were "being sold" by Ideal which was a truly refreshing feeling as a consumer. Once we were signed on, Michael took the time to meet at our home on our schedule to review the work process, payment procedures, and expectations. The work started within 2 weeks of scheduling. The workers were polite, punctual, hard-working, kept the property clean, finished the job on schedule, and ultimately produced a great product for us. No job of this scale is without a few snags, which we weren't immune to, but the very minor snags were quickly addressed and corrected by Michael and the install team. Michael was also present on-site to review the progress and perform quality control almost every day. Our house looks awesome! We're thrilled with the result, and so glad we went with Michael and Ideal for this large project. We would give them more than 5 stars if I could, I wish more companies operated like these guys. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

Very good experience and the crew worked hard for the duration. Luckily the weather was great and the re-siding of our house only took 2 weeks. Highly recommend using these guys for new or replacement siding. Note that your driveway may get dirty and tire marks on it but a good power washing after it is all over will clean it back up.
