We didn’t end up hiring David but he came by to do an estimate and was honest about the work that needed to be done and recommended a handyman because of the small project size. That showed me he cared about us getting the best deal even if we didn’t go with him. I appreciated his honesty and the effort he put into us getting the right person for the job!

John and his team were so great to work with. They took our mid 1900s home and kept its original character with hardie board. They were so communicative which honestly is so hard to find these days. Our house looks so amazing and the price was definitely within our budget. His team worked their butts off in the hot weather- putting in 12 hour days and didn’t stop until it was all finished. Sooooo happy with it!!!
We’re glad you appreciated the communication and attention to your home’s original character. Thank you for noticing the team’s hard work and dedication throughout the project.

Ideal Siding made us feel that we have a new home! The James Hardie siding in Arctic White is beautiful, and was installed with perfection. Raul and Mario worked diligently during our project, and collaborated with us closely to make sure the installation was done as we expected. Ryan marketed the services very well and kept us updated during the installation, answering our questions along the way. When we did have concerns, the issues were resolved quickly and better than we expected! Ideal Siding was a wise choice for residing our home!
Chris, feeling like you have a new home is about as good as it gets! We’re so happy you love the Arctic White James Hardie siding, and we appreciate your kind words about Raul, Mario, and Ryan. Most of all, thank you for trusting us with your home and for sharing how well your questions and concerns were handled along the way. The photos are fantastic, too. Enjoy that beautiful new exterior!

Ideal Siding with Elric and the team completed a difficult and dangerous job for us by removing 2 in-wall AC units from our 2nd and 3rd floors. They replaced the holes with siding that restored my home to original condition. Price was fair and we definitely recommend this company.

I would recommend Ideal Siding to anyone. I had a challenging project in German Village that required them to save as much of the original siding as possible, replace only the rotted pieces, and then repaint. Cameron and his crew went above and beyond to match the profile and fit new pieces among the old. His painters were fantastic and made sure all the loose paint was scraped, and were very respectful to the neighbor's property.
Thank you for sharing details about your project in German Village. We're glad Cameron and the crew were able to match the siding and that the painters took care with both your home and your neighbor's property.

I contacted Ideal Siding for an estimate for vinyl siding replacement with Hardie board.
I never heard a single word back from them.

The quotation and schedule process was a bit slow and lacking communication. However the installation manager and the crew were fabulous. They were efficient and cleaned up nicely. The end product looks very nice.
Hongming, thank you for the thoughtful feedback. We appreciate your patience with the early communication and scheduling, and we’re very glad the installation experience and finished siding left you happy with the project. Thank you for recognizing the crew and the care they took with your home!

When we tore down our old wooden deck in preparation for a new composite deck some rotten boards were discovered. Finding a siding company to do a repair instead of an entire job proved extremely difficult. We requested nine estimates and only received two. Luckily for us Ideal Siding Barrie was one of those companies. Ralph, the owner, responded right away and visited us in person to provide an estimate. Within a day we received a quote we thought was fair. Finalizing the details of our project and finding the appropriate replacement siding was next. Ralph's excellent interpersonal and timely communication skills made these steps go smoothly. As did his personal connections with a local lumber mill to create our custom siding. When it came to the actual repair, his crew (Adi, Eduardo, and Marcos) was top-notch. We felt in good hands. Two issues emerged at the end of the project, after we had sent final payment, but Ralph to his credit resolved them quickly to our full satisfaction. If you are planning a siding project, book now and proceed with confidence!
Mark and Pat, I really enjoyed reading your review. It brought me right back through the whole project and everything we worked through together to get the repair done properly.
This one definitely had a few challenges, especially finding the right siding and having the custom pieces made, but I’m glad we were able to find a solution and get everything taken care of.
I’m also happy you mentioned Adi, Eduardo, and Marcos. They take a lot of pride in their work, and I’ll be sure to share your comments with them.
I especially appreciate that when a couple of issues came up at the end, you gave us the opportunity to come back and make things right. For me, the job isn’t finished until the customer is happy with the work.
It was great getting to know you both and working with you on this project. Your recommendation means a great deal to me and the crew.
All the best with the new deck(looks great btw), and thanks again for choosing Ideal Siding Barrie!
P.S. The recipe is not as good as yours :)
