Home Wise Electrical Reviews

John Metcalfe 2026.10.19

Recently had Dan do some electrical work on a ground level bedroom, installing a ceiling fan, remove a couple of down lights and relocate light and fan switches to the on suite. The quote was promptly prepared and sent, no chasing up! Was very happy with Dan's work, having done exactly as promised. I would recommend Home Wise Electrical for all your electrical needs.

Thanks John, really appreciate it. Switches moved into the ensuite, the new ceiling fan in and a couple of downlights gone should make that downstairs bedroom work a lot better. Glad the quote came through quickly — nobody should have to chase a tradie for a price. Any time you need a hand again, just give me a call.

Honest and helpful reliable electrician. Cleans up after himself and makes sure you have choices and know the costing before job done Communication about arrival time and expected time the job will take is great too. No job too big or small and completed to relevant trade standards & government requirements

Thanks John, really appreciate it. Glad I could get out to you the same afternoon — a pool light that's playing up is worth having looked at quickly, and it's good to have a clear answer on what's going on with it. Any time you need a hand around the place in Gosford, give me a call.

Thanks Scott, that's great to hear. Good call doing the extra powerpoints and USB outlets while the switchboard was open — much less disruptive than coming back for them later. And no stress at all on the adjustments; that's usually the point where you work out what you actually want, so I'd rather change it then than have you living with something that isn't quite right. Any time you're ready for the next bit out at Bateau Bay, give me a yell.

Thanks Ian, that's a great thing to read. Oven, cooktop and rangehood in one go is a decent day's work, and the heat and exhaust fan will make a real difference in the bathroom heading into the cold months. Good to get the safety switches sorted while I was there too. Any time you need a hand around the house in East Gosford, you know where I am.

Thanks Patrick, appreciate you taking the time. The Sigenergy chargers are a good bit of kit and it's always easier when everything's on the one system - glad we got the smoke alarm and the security camera sorted in the same visit rather than dragging you through three separate bookings. Enjoy the new charger, and give me a yell if you need anything else around the North Avoca place.
