After having an unsuccessful attempt at selling our house the previous year due to probably listing too late in the summer, we decided to spend a little more time trying to find the right Realtor for the job. We received letters from a couple as well as emails and cards from numerous others. I researched them all at length. Only one Realtor left a very cordial phone message. Not one, but three, (once a month). We decided to give her the first interview due to her super friendly voice, and are we glad we did! After a short meeting we knew she was the one, the search was over like that. She told us what she would do to sell our house and she followed through on every item she mentioned. She made us feel like we were her only clients (when we knew she had multiple clients). Gretchen staged our house so nice that we were thinking we were already living in a new house. I was amazed at the amount of time and effort that she put into making our sale a success. When it came time to list, we had our offer and sale in a few days. (My wife mentioned that the fact that she was cooking a roast that smelled so good the day the new buyers had their showing was part of the reason for the quick sale). We very much appreciated how we were informed immediately every time there was an update, change or question. We look forward to a lasting friendship that we built over this experience.
