Y terminamos tomando unos helados artesanales deliciosos! Excelente experiencia.
It was a very fulfilling journey. We originally expected it to be a light food experience, but ended up feeling truly satisfied. Some of the dishes were familiar to us from earlier in the trip, yet they were even more impressive than when we first tried them. Perhaps it was the combination of Roman history and the surrounding streets that made every bite feel refined, fresh, and memorable. We are also very grateful to our guide, Daniel. His guidance allowed us to explore the local side of Rome. With his rich knowledge and humorous way of speaking, he helped us understand the city on a deeper level. We especially appreciate that he respected us as visitors from Taiwan, acknowledged our country, and made the effort to remember and use our names in our native language, which made us feel truly respected. Even as non-native English speakers, we never felt any difficulty communicating and were able to enjoy a wonderful time.
We toured with Daniel twice in our Rome trip, he was fantastic, funny, knowledgeable and the time was so valuable! 100% must book with Hili and ask for Daniel. An Archeologist trained tour guide that made our trip so special, thank you again! Some photos from our groups on our food tour and Pantheon tour. Casey and Amy, CT USA
Our guide was very nice. We just expected more history with the food tour without asking us to answer questions we don't know answers too. Some of the food stops were very average. Perhaps if it was our first time in Rome we would have appreciated the tour more but we have definitely had better food and gelato at quick stops. One of the stops was at a market were we tried food samples like you would at a grocery store except with out someone trying to pressure you to buy something. We 100% spent more money at those vendors so save your money for a shop, at least the liquor.
