We had an amazing experience on the Road to Hana with our tour guide, Nick! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day so enjoyable. Nick knew all the best spots, shared interesting stories and information about Maui, and made sure we felt comfortable and had plenty of time to take everything in. My 2 teenage sons and I booked this tour and had the pleasure of having Trena as our guide! We had no idea what to expect other than we were riding in a jeep to see some sights! This ended up being one of our favorite parts of our entire trip! Trena was such a great host. She showed us so many places, explained all the history of the island and stopped us by so many local businesses and places to eat and shop. We did the Hāna & Back tour with Hawaii by Storm yesterday, and our guide Daniel F. is the reason this was one of the best days of our trip. Nearly 12 hours on the road, and our group of 6 was genuinely sad when the day ended - we wanted more time with him. Daniel’s knowledge is extraordinary. He wove together Hawaiian history, geology, native vs. non-native flora and fauna, and local culture at every single stop, without it ever feeling like a rehearsed script. You could tell he wasn’t reciting facts - he actually lives this. He’s been on Maui for 9 years and is clearly woven into the real local community, not just the tourist version of it. That access and perspective made all the difference. On top of the depth of knowledge, he was just a genuinely great person to spend the day with - warm, funny, easy to talk to, and attentive to our group the entire time. The stops along the Road to Hāna (waterfalls, Black Sand Beach, banana bread, lunch, the works) are beautiful on their own, but Daniel is what turned it into a truly special experience. If you book this tour, request Daniel F. Hawaii by Storm is lucky to have him, and we’d go back to Maui just to do this tour with him again!

Nick made our Road to Hana tour hands down one of the best experiences of our trip. It was honestly a life-changing day. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Nick made the entire twelve-plus hours absolutely incredible. From start to finish, he was warm, personable, and genuinely invested in making the day special for us. Our family had an incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm on the Road to Hana tour. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Mak, was knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire day so much fun, especially for our two teenagers, which isn't always easy! He knew all the best local spots, shared interesting information about Maui along the way, and made sure we experienced places we never would have found on our own. The Road to Hana is beautiful, but it's also a challenging drive with countless winding roads, narrow one-lane bridges, and steep cliffs. We were so grateful to have Makana behind the wheel. His experience and confidence made us feel completely safe and allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenery. After seeing the drive firsthand, we're so glad we didn't attempt it ourselves! One of my favorite parts of the day was that Mak took so many amazing family photos for us. It allowed us to truly enjoy the experience together without worrying about who was behind the camera, and we came home with incredible memories. He picked us up directly from our resort, dropped us off afterward, and even stopped for food along the way, recommending some of the best local specialties. We never felt rushed. In fact, he was happy to spend extra time with us if there were additional places we wanted to see, which really showed how much he cared about making our day special. We originally thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but after this experience, we're already planning to return to Maui. When we do, we'll absolutely book another tour with Mak and Hawaii by Storm to explore a different part of the island. We highly recommend them!

From the moment we started, Justin’s knowledge of Maui was absolutely amazing.
