Commitment and Dedication In December, our boiler system broke down and we had no hot water. We contacted a local tradesman who said he would come out the next day, but never showed up. We then contacted Griffin Heating and spoke with Tom who recognised the urgency of the problem we were in. Even though he was busy that day, he showed up at around 6pm and knew immediately what needed to be done. The next day (Friday), he said he would come out in the evening on the way home and repair the boiler. I can't tell you how thankful we were that we had hot water and grateful that we had someone we could trust. We've already recommended him to our daughter and to our friends.

New boiler I would highly recommend Griffin Plumbing & Heating. Tom arrived on the day and diagnosed broken boiler fan. He tried to obtain obsolete part but his quote for new Worcester boiler was very reasonable. My old boiler was removed and new one fitted by Sam in a day, to a high standard, very neat and tidy. It was a smooth, quick and stress-free experience doing business with Tom and would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing and heating help and advice and a reliable, local tradesman.

New boiler I would highly recommend Griffin Plumbing and Heating. Tom arrived on the day my old Worcester boiler broke and diagnosed broken fan. He tried to obtain obsolete part but the quote for a new, efficient Worcester boiler was very reasonable. My old boiler was removed and new one fitted by Sam in a day to a high standard, very neat, quick and tidy. It was a smooth and stress-free experience doing business with Tom. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing plumbing help and advice and a reliable, local tradesman.

Refreshingly excellent Griffin replaced our oil fired boiler. Their quotation was clearly set out and fairly priced. They turned-up when they said that they would. They did what they said that they were going to do and resolved any snags as they encountered them, without any drama. No excuses, no bluster. They clearly explained what they were doing and were clean, friendly, polite and efficient in their approach. They respected their workspace and our property. In short, they did a great job and were refreshingly excellent from start to finish. If only more traders were like this! I'd have no hesitation in recommending Griffin to potential customers.

Air Conditioning Installation Having checked the Which Trusted Trader Griffin Plumbing & Heating was recommended for Air Conditioning Installation. Having decided on my preferred manufacturer Worc/Bosch, Tom from Griffin came to check the installation and equipment requirements. Having provided a written quote and a reasonable timescale I agreed to the quote and to arrange for extra electrical dedicated protected supply as specified by Tom. Where else to find a trusted Electrician than with Which Trusted Trader. I had the that work completed in preparation for Tom to wield his magic. On the agreed day Tom and Sam appeared earlier than agreed and proceeded to carry out the work. I had no hesitation to leave them to get on with the work. All work was carried out accurately, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. They were friendly, extremely tidy and explained everything as they proceeded to complete the work within the agreed timescale. The following day I had one small query which Tom immediately responded to and arrived promptly to fix a small problem. I can highly them as they provided a 5* service in a friendly and competent manner. The quality of the workmanship and the value for money was exceptional. I shall always use them for any other plumbing or heating installations and servicing.

Great company..very efficient, careful and informative When Tom first came to look at what was needed to install our new Worcester boiler and to price the job, he discovered we had the wrong size gas pipe and talked through what they were going to have to do, and that they would have to saw through some floorboards to find the gas pipe. He said this might cause some splitting and wanted to know where carpets and rugs were laid so as to cover any potential damage…in fact, on the day, there was none… although much of the pipe turned out to be in concrete under the boards. Tom and Sam arrived promptly on the agreed day for installation. The new boiler and pipework were completed quickly and efficiently. Dealing with the buried pipe was more challenging and messy. But at the end of the day, no one would have known. They left everything spotless, a new boiler that works quietly and brilliantly, and they gave us instructions on how to work the new timer and make adjustments to settings on the new boiler if needed. And we arranged a boiler service in 12months' time. Tom also said he was on call any time if we needed help. We are so impressed with their skill, commitment, perseverance in a challenge, competence, and final clean-up that we would happily recommend them to anyone. Tom installed a new combi boiler to replace an outdated boiler and water tank system that was nearing the end of its life - and fixed two toilets that were failing to refill properly. The whole process from start to finish was outstanding. Contacted Griffin Plumbing and was quoted promptly at a very reasonable price. Tom was excellent in explaining the different options available to us and answered all our questions in full. Tom arrived promptly when promised and worked incredibly hard to fit the new boiler in extreme heat during a recent heatwave! He ensured the water was switched off for the minimal amount of time necessary for the installation. Tom is a true professional, he worked quickly and effectively, respecting our property by ensuring any mess was cleaned up immediately upon completing the work. He flushed out the system to ensure our heating would perform at its absolute best. Tom spent time explaining how the new boiler worked and made sure we were familiar with all the controls before he left. Could not be happier with work completed and would highly recommend.

Fantastic service Tom and Sam installed a boiler and a partial gas central heating system in our new house, which had previously been reliant on old electric storage heaters. Initial contact was very straightforward, and Tom came out to quote promptly. He understood immediately what we were aiming to achieve, listened to our concerns, and offered practical solutions. The quote was sent the same evening. Not the cheapest we got, but we were impressed with Tom's professionalism and knowledge, and the price was competitive. We were not disappointed - the job was carried out in one day by Tom and Sam working together. Both were diligent, communicated well, and kept disruption and mess to a minimum. We particularly appreciated the attention given to the finish on the outside wall where the boiler was vented, which went well beyond the call of duty. All paperwork certifying the work was compliant was forwarded in a timely fashion once payment had been made and the boiler was registered for its guarantee with the manufacturer, without us having the chase anything, which makes a nice change these days! All in all, we are delighted to have found this company through Which and warmly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing and heating work done in the Lancaster area.

Excellent service. Came the next day to check my broken boiler so that I was not left without heat for long. Gave a set quote (better than an estimate which can be changed). Was willing to answer questions, set the heating to a good temperature at the start and told me how to change the settings afterwards. Gave me simple to understand recommendations for which boiler to choose. Great service!

Firstly I must say I have not used thier service. The problem I have had is that I have tried to interact with them but have recieved no replies. I was recommended them by my next door neighbour for an oli boiler service. Emailed them several times to ask if they were interested in doing a service for me but no reply to either email. Then left a voicemail on the mobile number again no reply. I can understand that they might not have wanted to travel as we are at the edge of thier area but just a "no we are not interested" would have been acceptable. However no reply at all I find unacceptable.

New boiler installation Very happy with an excellent service. Great comms from the engineers. The work was carried out professionally and efficiently. The engineers were helpful and ran through the functions of the new boiler. They also had to work around two big dogs being in the house so they always checked before opening doors and were happy to use the backdoor. The new boiler was up and running after a few hours work and the engineers left the area spotless! Very impressed by their service. Highly recommended ++++
