I had a great experience with Green Planet Restoration of LA after a water damage incident at my property. An overflowing second-floor toilet backed up onto the bathroom floor, and the water eventually made its way into the wall cavity between the first and second floors before finding an exit through a light fixture in the first-floor ceiling. Green Planet Restoration of LA came out the very next day to assess the damage and provided a detailed quote along with a clear plan of action. They began work the following day, quickly isolating the affected areas to prevent further damage and contamination. Their team handled every aspect of the mitigation and restoration process, including water extraction, demolition of affected materials, drying, moisture monitoring, sanitation, and ultimately restoring the damaged areas. Throughout the project, they were professional, communicative, and kept me informed every step of the way. What impressed me most was their responsiveness and commitment to getting the job done right. When there was a minor issue with some of the drying equipment, they even came back over the weekend to address it promptly. The drying process took about 3-4 days, followed by a few more days for repairs, and the finished result looked as if the damage had never happened. While the cost initially seemed a bit higher than I expected for the scope of work, the speed of their response, quality of the work, level of communication, and overall professionalism made it well worth it. A fire started in our garage from an old electrical panel that had been giving us warnings we did not act on fast enough. By the time it was out the smoke had moved through the ventilation and into the main living areas of our Santa Clarita home. We were rattled and did not know where to begin. My commercial car wash in Newhall flooded when the reclaim water tank ruptured and 3000 gallons of soapy water spread throughout the equipment room and office. By the time I discovered it the chemical mixture had damaged electrical systems. Luckily Green Planet Restoration Santa Clarita understood car wash operations and chemical contamination. Green Planet has done a phenomenal job rescuing my condo from a flood by answering my 2 am phone call promptly last Nov 21! Genner came out with his crew by 4 am to suck up the water and set up dryers for a week. Then the tear down crew came to take out two feet of drywall, the flooring, and the kitchen. The rebuilding process was terrific, led by outstanding Zoey Ben, who planned the demolition and renovation perfectly and led the crew, which included Sapir, Tony Hernandez, Rolando, and others. Tony H and crew - Enrique and others - did a great job doing the rebuilding itself. Sapir designed a functional and beautiful kitchen. Edgar, Victor, Jorge, and Jose did a great job packing me out and moving me back in. And Ronit was always there to make sure I understood what insurance was taking care of as well as helping me see the big picture. Rolando did a great job painting. And Eric made sure I knew when the movers (Edgar, Victor et al.) would be there - they moved me in over two days and unpacked my stuff over an additional two days. Green Planet Restoration very recently completed a job for us. A water leak caused some extensive damage in one of our bathrooms and an adjoining bedroom. Green Planet handled both the mold remediation work and the reconstruction. We dealt with Carlos on the remediation and Shauly on the reconstruction. Green Planet handled the entire project including permits with LA county as well as dealing with the insurance claim. Pertaining to the insurance claim, they helped ensure that the insurance company followed through and paid what we were entitled to. Everyone we dealt with at Green Planet for each part of the job was professional, courteous, responsive and helpful. Communication with customers is a key strength along with providing high quality services and work. Their trades people and subs always left the work site clean and orderly. Stop !!! Do Not use this business!!!!! Green Planet Restoration and Reconstruction of Chatsworth is not professional or concerned with the clients needs. They violated numerous codes and did not get permits and their workmanship and products they use are of extremely poor quality . They Fraudulently tried to get me to pay them in full before work was completed or inspected and did not want the mortgage company's endorsement on my insurance issued check and wanted to deposit the full amount into their B of A bank account after only 5 1/2 days of poor performance and damaging my home with holes in the walls, breaking a sewer pipe and cracking entry way marble when removing water damaged wall base boards. They did not use insulation behind the poor quality drywall used per code or use the correct texture to match my other existing walls , etc. Did not clean up or make my home safe after each day. Their scope of work given to the insurance company was totally inaccurate and they did not consult this homeowner before submitting their estimate to my insurance company . Did not legally list on their contract the total amount of the job. Refused to give me my copies for 7 weeks. After the fact. So many questionable business practices to list them all. Even if someone recommends them. My personal experience has been nothing but an on going nightmare . Then they have the nerve to constantly submit numerous invoices of different amounts weekly to me since they abandoned and then terminated for not following legal procedures and insurance protocols and for work never actually performed. They deserve a zero rating. No Quality workmanship or products , they use unskilled workers and their management personal Ronit B. is rude and disrespectful . They Abandoned the job because I refused to hand over my full insurance check before it was endorsed by the mortgage company and before any substantial quality work was performed. Please check with the CSLB before you engage their services for your own peace of mind. They are not who or what they claim.
