Living on a bluff has its perks, but heavy winter rains caused some erosion near our foundation that let water seep into our lower level through a crack we hadn't known was there. Although my experience started out really well (Denny was excellent), there were many negative experiences that came along later. I would only say that in these first moments of vulnerability that come along with severe water damage, try to hold back and get more bids, learn who is truly reliable. I know results vary and I hope others have had better luck, but I have learned not to trust Yelp reviews at all.

Our water heater failed in the lower level of our hillside home, and given how our property is built into the slope, water had nowhere to go but deeper into the foundation area.Some one tell us about Green Planet Restoration of Orange County. They caught a drainage issue tied to the hillside grading that could've caused a repeat problem, something our original builder apparently never addressed. We finally feel like that corner of the house is actually sorted out.

We live in one of the older homes near Old Town Newhall, built in the 1920s, and a corroded pipe behind the kitchen wall finally failed. Because of the home's age, I was terrified normal repair methods would butcher the original plaster and trim. They understood immediately that this wasn't ordinary freshwater damage, salt water is corrosive in a way regular flooding isn't, and they treated the baseboards, flooring, and lower drywall accordingly instead of just drying it and calling it done.

Water started seeping through our shared wall from the neighboring unit's bathroom leak, and because it wasn't even our plumbing, I had no idea who was supposed to fix what. I had a great experience with Green Planet Restoration of LA after a water damage incident at my property. An overflowing second-floor toilet backed up onto the bathroom floor, and the water eventually made its way into the wall cavity between the first and second floors before finding an exit through a light fixture in the first-floor ceiling. Green Planet Restoration of LA came out the very next day to assess the damage and provided a detailed quote along with a clear plan of action. They began work the following day, quickly isolating the affected areas to prevent further damage and contamination. Their team handled every aspect of the mitigation and restoration process, including water extraction, demolition of affected materials, drying, moisture monitoring, sanitation, and ultimately restoring the damaged areas. Throughout the project, they were professional, communicative, and kept me informed every step of the way. What impressed me most was their responsiveness and commitment to getting the job done right. When there was a minor issue with some of the drying equipment, they even came back over the weekend to address it promptly. The drying process took about 3-4 days, followed by a few more days for repairs, and the finished result looked as if the damage had never happened. While the cost initially seemed a bit higher than I expected for the scope of work, the speed of their response, quality of the work, level of communication, and overall professionalism made it well worth it. A fire started in our garage from an old electrical panel that had been giving us warnings we did not act on fast enough. By the time it was out the smoke had moved through the ventilation and into the main living areas of our Santa Clarita home. We were rattled and did not know where to begin. Green Planet Restoration of Santa Clarita arrived within 45 minutes and brought immediate calm to a situation that felt completely out of control. Their assessment covered every room the smoke had touched, including two we had not even considered. They explained the full scope clearly, started the soot and odor treatment without delay, and kept us updated every single day throughout the restoration. The process took close to three weeks but not once did we feel left in the dark or unsure about what was happening. Every surface that was affected was treated and restored properly and the finished result was genuinely impressive. Our home smells completely clean and looks exactly as it did before. I highly recommend Green Planet Restoration who worked on cleaning the subfloors and removed wet soil in the crawlspace under my house. Green Planet has done a phenomenal job rescuing my condo from a flood by answering my 2 am phone call promptly last Nov 21! Genner came out with his crew by 4 am to suck up the water and set up dryers for a week. Then the tear down crew came to take out two feet of drywall, the flooring, and the kitchen. The rebuilding process was terrific, led by outstanding Zoey Ben, who planned the demolition and renovation perfectly and led the crew, which included Sapir, Tony Hernandez, Rolando, and others. Tony H and crew - Enrique and others - did a great job doing the rebuilding itself. Sapir designed a functional and beautiful kitchen. Edgar, Victor, Jorge, and Jose did a great job packing me out and moving me back in. And Ronit was always there to make sure I understood what insurance was taking care of as well as helping me see the big picture. Rolando did a great job painting. And Eric made sure I knew when the movers (Edgar, Victor et al.) would be there - they moved me in over two days and unpacked my stuff over an additional two days.
