Small electrical fire in the garage, contained fast, or so I thought. Smoke smell got into every bedroom through the vents, which nobody warns you about. We had a toilet overflow that wasn't caught for several hours while we were out. By the time we got home the bathroom floor, the hallway, and part of our bedroom had been affected. I'm on ****************** and called Green Planet Restoration of LA that evening. The technician was calm, professional, and very clear about the contamination classification and what it meant for which materials could be saved. They moved quickly on extraction and setup. During the restoration phase the crew was great about keeping our 70-year-old home's original details in mind we have older tile and trim they were careful to match rather than just replacing with whatever was cheapest. Really thoughtful work. Total time from emergency call to completed restoration was about nine days and I was kept in the loop throughout.

I own a commercial office space in a small strip on ************ near *********** and we had a slow ceiling leak above our conference room that wasn't discovered until there was visible mold on the ceiling tiles. Green Planet Restoration of LA came out quickly, confirmed mold growth in the ceiling plenum and in some of the wallboard near the *********. The remediation work was thorough and they documented everything carefully. My **** contractor was actually impressed by how they had prepped the area before he came in to check the duct system. The only reason I gave four stars is I wish their invoicing system were a little more streamlined it took a few back and forths to get the final paperwork formatted the way our accountant needed. Work quality though was excellent.

I've heard so many stories about restoration companies doing shoddy work or overcharging so I was cautious. Green Planet Restoration of LA came out and their project manager walked me through everything showed me the moisture readings, explained what needed to come up and why, and was honest about what could dry in place. I live near *********** and a few neighbors had used them before, which helped me feel comfortable. The crew that did the actual work was efficient and respectful of my home. The hardwood floor repair came out better than I expected the grain match was really good. My dog was also pretty anxious about the equipment and the workers were genuinely patient and kind about it. Small thing but it meant something. Excellent company overall.

Had a kitchen fire that started from a stovetop that spread to the cabinets before we could fully contain it. It was terrifying but thankfully just property damage. Green Planet Restoration of LA was on site the next morning. They assessed the fire and smoke damage and explained that even areas that didn't look burned could have smoke and soot embedded in them, especially porous surfaces. They cleaned and treated the kitchen thoroughly, deodorized the whole house, and restored the damaged cabinet area. I own a small restaurant on ************ and we had a fire in the back kitchen area started from a grease flare up that got into the vent hood. Thankfully no one was hurt but the smoke and soot damage spread into the dining area. Green Planet Restoration of LA came out for an assessment and their fire restoration team was knowledgeable. The project manager was extremely organized he photographed everything for the insurance claim, labeled all the damaged materials, and gave us a clear scope of work. The drying phase took about five days with their industrial equipment and they checked readings every day. Flooring, baseboards, and drywall were all restored to match what we had before. My kitchen had a slow leak under the sink that I thought was minor but turned out to have been going on for months without my knowing. By the time I noticed, there was mold on the back wall of the cabinet and under the flooring. Green Planet Restoration of LA came in and did a thorough inspection they used a moisture meter and checked the adjacent walls too, which I hadn't thought about. Found a bit of spread into the pantry wall as well. They contained the work area properly and ran negative air pressure the whole time.
