Sometimes, we provide an estimated wait based on the current situation, but if more critical patients arrive, priorities can shift, and in other moments, the flow can improve faster than expected.

That said, we never want any pet parent to feel dismissed or “blown off.” Your concern is completely valid, and this is not the experience we aim to provide.

Nice Vet Emergency in Lake Nona. Came with my dog that got stung by a few bees and had an anaphylactic reaction. Brought him here and was seen pretty quickly. Glad they opened up here

Facility is really nice doesn’t feel like you’re in a hospital. The staff was really kind. Even had the manager help me with my dog to the car. I left with medication and my boy is feeling much better after our visit. Hope you don’t ever need their services but nice to have them there if you need 👍

10/10 would come here again in an emergency. Came here with my cat that stopped eating and after doing blood work and x-rays they figured out what was wrong within an hour. The Vet explained everything to me, the staff was super comforting and they even have a viewing window where you can see your pet get all treatments done. Happy they opened up in Lake Nona. A Pet ER was so needed in this area.

My dog was in a lot of pain at 3am so I ended up taking him here. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Flowers was extremely helpful on finding out what was wrong with my dog. She even sat down and talked to me answering any questions or concerns I had not rushed at all. I was updated the whole time I was waiting. For an emergency vet their prices are extremely fair you cant expect to pay regular prices when they have to pay staff around the clock to always have someone available to take care of your pet. I will always use this place in the future but im praying I never need to again. Thank you.

we had a great experience with this place the staff did a great job and paid great attention to our dog in what was a difficult situation. As a result he lives to fight another day. I recommend GreenlightER in Lake Nona....5 stars from us!

I had a very disappointing experience with Greenlight ER. The only positive part of our visit was the doctor, who was okay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell far below expectations. The support staff came across as unprofessional, and the overall condition of the facility was not what you would hope for in an emergency setting. On top of that, the cost of care was extremely high, especially considering the level of service and support we received. We left feeling like we had paid a premium without getting meaningful help for our situation. What was most frustrating was the lack of continued support. When I called back with follow-up concerns, they were unwilling to assist and essentially refused to see us again, stating that it was outside of their scope. In an emergency care setting, that kind of response is incredibly disheartening, especially when you’re already dealing with a stressful and emotional situation. Overall, I did not feel supported, guided, or cared for in the way I expected. I would not return or recommend this facility based on my experience.

My 13 year old Weimaraner had to have emergency surgery - spleen removal due to a large mass. I was distressed but the staff made the process so easy. My fur baby was at ease, so I was at ease. The staff from the front desk to the doc were great. They were even helpful financially by using Cherry. It’s like affirm but for vet services. My baby is home and is recovering very well.

Title: Felt Like Profit Came Before My Dog’s Care I took my Yorkie, Bella, to Greenlight Pet ER after she was attacked by a larger dog. As you can imagine, it was a terrifying situation and I was desperate to get her help. Bella was examined, but none of her wounds were actually treated — they were left open. Instead, the focus quickly turned to presenting me with a nearly $7,000 estimate for just 48 hours of hospitalization. For many pet owners, that kind of cost simply isn’t realistic, especially in the middle of an emergency. When I declined the $7k hospitalization plan, the tone noticeably changed. It felt like the moment I said no to the expensive treatment plan, the level of care and willingness to help dropped. What really pushed this experience from frustrating to unacceptable was when I asked if Bella’s prescription could be changed from an opioid medication to a non-opioid alternative. Even though I had already paid the emergency exam fee, I was told I would have to bring Bella back, drive 16 miles again, and pay another exam fee just to change the prescription. Think about that: a dog that had just been attacked, already examined, still in pain — and the only way to adjust medication was to pay another fee and physically bring her back again. Emergency veterinary care is already incredibly stressful and expensive. Pet owners come in scared, emotional, and just trying to do what’s best for their animals. Unfortunately, this experience made it feel like the priority wasn’t Bella’s wellbeing — it was maximizing the bill. I understand that veterinary medicine is a business, but compassion and reasonable flexibility should still exist, especially in emergency situations. Instead, this experience felt cold, transactional, and profit-driven. Pet owners should know what to expect before coming here.

I was so excited that this facility opened in our neighborhood and decided to try them after discovering an injury that my pet had. I was visibly upset when I walked in. It was a weeknight, after 6 PM. When I arrived, I explained the situation and was told that it wasn’t an emergency and was going to be several hours before I’d be seen by someone. I asked if I could take my pet back home since I lived very close and was told that it was up to me and I could try to call in a few hours, but I would basically lose my place in line. I waited for about 20 minutes and noticed that there were 4 staff members who were sitting at their desks chatting. I decided to leave and go to another ER facility where they took me right in. I’ve had previous experience there, and although it was further away, they are a lot more attentive. Too bad that my first impression of Greenlight is not positive.
