this place has terrible staff has no sense of urgency i came in because my cat was not acting right and throwing up a bunch showing signs of discomfort and they made him wait almost a hour for the exam to just tell me what i needed to do instead of taking him into care and when I denied service because of over pricing i asked for him back and they took forever and when i looked through the window the doctor was just on her phone and when she came out to someone else before she walked away i said maamx2 i need my cat she ignored me and continued to shut the door i’m a very patient person and i understand if there was other emergencies but there was me and one more person while other doctors were just talking to each other looking at me crazy for worrying about my son i am very dissatisfied and disappointed they would treat me like this i do not recommend. (also was told they have machines to help someone else’s cat but don’t know how to use them and they should go somewhere else (whats the point) highly disappointed
Took our German Shepherd after being attacked by another dog at the park. The vet and the staff were just amazing, thank you!

Getting checked in went great then things went downhill. The doctor convinced my dog had cancer all over. Agree for xrays said would be 2 hr to read them. We left 4 hours they call results. I know my dog is older and having show dogs very involved with many vet visits.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how emotional and overwhelming it can be when a pet is experiencing health concerns, especially when discussing the possibility of a serious diagnosis.
At Greenlight Pet ER, our doctors strive to provide their medical assessment based on the information available at the time of the examination and diagnostic testing. In some cases, imaging findings may raise concerns that require further evaluation, and our team aims to communicate those possibilities while awaiting final results.
We also understand that waiting for diagnostic results can be frustrating, particularly during an already stressful situation. We apologize if the timeline or communication did not meet your expectations.
We value your feedback and would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please feel free to contact our management team at managerln@greenlight.pet so we can review your concerns and better understand what occurred during your visit.

I had a very distressing experience at this ER. It felt as though the focus was more on costs and payment, than on my cat's wellbeing. I was visibly distraught and struggling to process the information being given to me, yet I felt very little compassion or emotional support from the staff.
I brought my cat in after she vomited once, became tired, and wasn’t eating normally. The front desk staff member was kind and genuinely seemed concerned, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the visit left me feeling overwhelmed and under supported.
Before my cat was even examined, I was charged $200 for a basic physical exam and vitals only. I was also asked about CPR, which would cost around $800 if I opted for it. These charges were done before any diagnostics had even been performed.
Although we were taken back fairly quickly, we spent about three hours at the clinic, and much of that time focused on costs, financing, and payment options rather than my cat’s condition.
What concerned me most was that the doctor told me my cat had pyometra and required immediate emergency surgery. She repeatedly stated that they doubted she would survive until the next morning without treatment. However, no imaging or lab work had been performed to confirm the diagnosis before these statements were made. They just kept pushing for surgery, only mentioning labs and imaging once or twice. It was extremely distressing to be told that my cat would die within hours without being shown any diagnostic evidence supporting such a serious conclusion.
To make matters worse, my cat was found to have a high fever, yet she remained in the exam room for roughly three hours without receiving any medication to help bring it down. The level of urgency being described did not seem to match the care being provided while we were there. I expected them to at least administer the first dose of her temperature was truly that life threatening.
When I asked about surgery costs, I was quoted anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000, which was an extremely broad range and not very helpful. As someone who just graduated and is looking for a job, I explained my financial situation and asked about alternatives. I was told that if I could not afford the surgery, I had to “let my cat go”. Hearing that while already being told my cat might not make it through the night was devastating. The doctor herself and tech both even said her “brain would get fried” if immediate action wasn’t taken. I found that wording unprofessional and unnecessarily alarming, especially while I was already visibly distressed and panicking.
I understand emergency veterinary care is expensive and that difficult conversations are sometimes necessary. However, I expected more compassion and empathy and a greater focus on my pet’s immediate care rather than finances. Instead, I left feeling frightened, pressured, and without clear answers.

At Greenlight Pet ER in Lake Nona, our medical team is committed to providing recommendations based on a pet’s clinical presentation and examination findings, particularly when a potentially life-threatening condition is suspected. We also recognize that discussions regarding costs and treatment options can be overwhelming, especially during an emotional emergency. Our intention is never to pressure pet owners, but rather to ensure they understand all available options and the potential risks associated with delaying treatment.
We are disappointed to learn that you felt our communication lacked the compassion and support you deserved during such a difficult time. Providing both medical care and empathetic client support is important to us, and we take feedback like yours seriously.

We went there in emergency our cat throw up and was a little slow , nothing else but we want to make sure she is ok . Doctor told us she has high fever and uterine infection she needs surgery right now and her fever is so high she was scared about her health we sit there for three hours they were telling us that she needs to do surgery right away but we didn’t have $7000 so told her if she can give her med . She give us med and told us to give our cat med when we go home , I don’t understand they waste 3 hours didn’t give her fever med no antibiotic , the reason she didn't give med because cat could do vomiting so we have to bring her home and give her med, but they were ready to do surgery on for $7000 , they are scam please don’t go there, they have no mercy for innocent animals. they only care about money . And for jut normal checkup and fever med and amoxicillin we almost $400 .

Staff is pleasant enough and seems to care about the animals; however, the wait for our dog to be treated was over five hours. I truly think they forgot about her at some point. She had a completely exposed quick with the nail still embedded in the nail bed which (I imagine) is quite painful. One of the techs let us know that it could be treated at Greenlight ER that day or by another vet... tomorrow. So, over 12hrs after the injury that my dog would be in pain and limping until she could be seen. That seems a bit cruel to make a puppy go through.
The drive to and back from the Pet ER in Oviedo might have been faster than waiting to be treated here. I wouldn't recommend bringing your pet here for anything less than an full-blown emergency.

They're lucky to even get one star because I brought my cat in gasping for air and they turned him down because they supposedly didn't have a mask to help him breathe EVEN THO IT SAYS ON HERE THAT ITS A ER! and right when me and my fiance got back in the car our cat passed away... So if u need to bring your pet here just know they're not an actual pet ER... They're just a bandaid type hospital...
This place was amazing and they really helped me with my dog even though they couldn’t find out why she was throwing up and doing diarrhea for 3 days straight they still helped her so much 🥹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️😍😍

I am new to the area of Orlando and my service animal ended up bending his nail which was bleeding and barely hanging on. I was recommended to green light and I’m happy I was. They worked fast, they were friendly, very informative, and treated Milo like their own animal. Big shout out to Denise, she was amazing and the front desk receptionist was very friendly as well. I know if I ever have another emergency, green light will be my first thought!

Greenlight Pet ER is truly an absolute blessing to Lake Nona and the surrounding areas.
Our Labrador Retriever became sick, and our regular vet was too busy to see her. We brought her to Greenlight in a moment of desperation, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right place.
The care our fur baby received was genuine, compassionate, and invaluable. Glory at reception greeted us with such warmth and kindness and made sure we were set up to get help right away. Dr. Anacleto was thorough, friendly, and caring. When we had to return because of lingering symptoms, Dr. D’Amico was amazing — joyful, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring.
I also want to give a special shoutout to the MVP of our two visits: Victor Rodriguez. From the moment we met him, he was genuinely caring and went above and beyond to ease our nerves. He kept us updated every step of the way and treated our pet with so much love. That meant the world to us during a very stressful time.
This review is 100% honest and based on our family’s experience. We cannot recommend Greenlight Pet ER highly enough. If your pet needs urgent care, don’t hesitate — go. You and your pet will be grateful you did.

My wife and I brought our dog here. Every single staff member was very nice and helpful. They kept us in the loop of what was going on and answered any questions we had. Even though it was busy when we were ready to leave (as most Vet ERs are) the doctor and staff still sat down with us with a treatment plan and answered any questions we had. We never felt rushed and could feel the compassion they had for our fur baby. We are so thankful for their help and will definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of emergency services for their fur babies.

Although we arrived too late and our fur baby had already passed on the way there, the compassion and kindness shown by the staff during such an overwhelming and heartbreaking moment meant more than words can express. They treated us with so much care, patience, and empathy while we were grieving, and that helped ease some of the hurt during one of the hardest moments for our family. My mother and brother took our cat there last night because she was found in a closet stiff and unresponsive. they waited an hour to be taken to a room and then once they took the cat to the back they didn’t see or hear anything about her for another hour. the staff proceeded to give my mother attitude and even did an ultrasound without asking for permission or telling them that they were going to do so. they showed no empathy and would not listen to my mother at all when being told that our cat was not usually calm and nice in these settings and continued to brush off any concerns she had. if anything had happened to her it would have been on them for being so careless and negligent and we will never being going back and i recommend people to take their pets to another er if they want the best care.

We’re very sorry to hear about your family’s experience at Greenlight Pet ER in Lake Nona. We understand how frightening and emotional it is to bring in a beloved pet in an unresponsive condition, and we sincerely regret that your mother and brother felt unsupported during such a stressful moment.

I went in as a walk in with my doggo after 6 pm. It was busy but staff was kind and patient with me. I was using an unfamiliar payment method and was out of sorts with worry but they were calm and reassuring. They took great care of my baby and even followed up a few days later to check back in. Their care and concern for my dog was wonderful even when she was scared and struggling with them.

This is Bella, an 8-year-old senior dog. Bella has always been very healthy, but recently she was diagnosed with pyometra. She was in a lot of pain and couldn’t walk. I took her to several veterinarians to find a solution, but the options they gave me were extremely expensive for the surgery Bella needed, or they suggested putting her to sleep.
I didn’t give up on Bella. Deep down, I knew there had to be a solution so she could go back to being the happy dog she once was. When I arrived at Greenlight, I found the solution I had been looking for Bella. The entire team was essential and very professional, especially nurse Erika and veterinarian Richard D’Amico. They were very patient with us and, above all, in handling Bella’s serious condition.
Bella arrived at a point where, if more time had passed, she probably wouldn’t have survived. But at Greenlight, I found the right professionals. After her recovery, Bella is now walking again, eating, and being the same joyful dog as before.
We are very grateful to Greenlight
