I would highly recommend G&E Services. We had solar panels plus storage battery installed, as well as an electric car charging point. The customer service was great from start to finish and the price was competitive. The guys who installed the panels and battery were efficient and friendly, and explained everything really clearly, and I’ve have had a quick response whenever I’ve had any questions. I have been meaning to get solar panels installed for a few years, but the south-facing part of my house has a flat-roof from a loft conversion, which normally requires ballasted panels, adding lots of extra weight to the roof.
Since I was replacing the roof, I had my roofer install mounting points to allow installation without the ballast, however after reaching out to various solar installers, many were reluctant to adapt to something different. After sending the technical specifications of the mounting points, Phil at G&E confirmed they could install onto the points. Phil was very responsive to all the questions I asked, and willing to adapt the installation to my needs.
On the day of installation, the team completed the install neatly despite the pouring rain and wind, leaving everything clean and tidy. The following week G&E came back to fit a split air conditioner fitted which was also done to a high standard.
Thanks again for everything, will definitely recommend to others!

We have previously had G&E services, fit solar panels, heat pump, and re wire the house. Last time the service was excellent. So again for the extension electrical works and air conditioning, we approached the team. Regardless to say we were not let down, a competitive price, great communication, and an excellent fitting service. We are both very pleased with the results.

We had a solar installation done in February with 24 panels and a 5kWh battery, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The whole install took just four hours, which was incredible. Rob, Dylan, and the entire team were exceptional—straight-talking, honest, and very competitively priced.
By March, everything was sorted with the utility company, and we started earning straight away. I’m with Octopus on the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff, and even staying on the standard export tariff at 15p per kWh, we’re already £700 in credit! Our direct debit to Octopus is now just £1 (can’t go any lower). We power ourselves and we’ve exported nearly 4,500 kWh so far.
We’re so grateful for the fantastic service and support from the team, they really are the best. We’ve already recommended them to many others, and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again! And I’m already looking at another battery to export even more.

Another great job by the team! I went for an even bigger battery this time, the system’s been working brilliantly. With the darker months on the way, this should keep the house powered until the cheap Octopus rate kicks in. Plus, I can now take full advantage of the Octopus Saving Sessions to top up the battery and power the house for free. Couldn’t be happier!

G & E Electrical have just completed our installation of an air source heat pump, along with solar panels. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Rob visited to do a heat survey and was very friendly and professional. We received all correspondence very quickly, and we were able to specify the week that worked for us for the installation.
The heat pump installer, solar panel installers and electricians were all fantastic. All very knowledgeable in their fields, along with a friendly manner and the utmost professionalism.

Can't rate highly enough
Processes started well with a call to the office, very friendly and responsive and provided good quote straight off the bat without lots of back and forth. Then worked with me whilst I kept changing my mind and answering lots of questions.
Was amazed when they could provide an installation the following week! Scaffolders came on the Monday and did a great job. Then the team arrived early on Tuesday in very hot sunshine and installed the whole system (21 panels and 2 batteries). Very neat and professional job.
There was a slight issue and the team stayed late to fix
