Had an amazing time here! The game selection was very comprehensive and definitely had something for everyone. Food and drinks were lovely as well! The chocolate milkshake was the highlight of the menu for me. Atmosphere is cozy and the owner Robert was very sweet and attentive throughout the evening. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing friendly staff, especially the owners. They have created a truly great place of community and tabletop games. Definitely recommend for MTG, Lorcana and other TCG fans, or those looking to get into them. They also have a wide selection of boardgames to play.

A gem of a board game café Absolutely wonderful board game café. They have a great selection of games ranging from the fun and easy to learn to the deeper and more involved games, and the staff are always happy to help recommend a game or help with the rules. They also run loads of fun social gaming events from trading card games to D&D. Food and drinks are great too!

Horrible experience Went with my parents as we all decided to start playing MTG as a family and thought this might be a lovely place to go. The owner said he could teach us so we agreed. From pretty early on it was obvious he cared more about our money than us having a lovely experience (we had to go through a lengthy sign-up process for an app which we later found out was purely to log that he had taught more people and did nothing for us as players). When my parents had questions he would either answer them in a very condescending way or answer them in a way that implied he thought the answer was obvious and when I stammered through a question (nothing severe, just means I thought block and have to find alternative ways to say things but my speech is generally still understood by others) he made no effort to even try and understand what I was saying. Also we found out at the end of our second session that whilst the first two sessions were free we had to pay (can’t remember how much but it was absolutely extortionate thinking maybe £40pp per session) for further sessions. Also the server in the cafe, whilst polite and friendly, did constantly ask whether we wanted drinks to the point where this was a bit intimidating.

I moved to the area and was worried I wouldn't find a gaming community. Then I discovered this shop. I have made so many new friends and have had so many new experiences. They have cultivated a great atmosphere and it brings good people.

While some people are queueing trying to scalp on release day. Here I am, sitting and talking with the Rob (owner) while enjoying a nice cup of mocha along with the latest pokemon tcg set. Place is spacious and very quiet with loads of free parking around the area. The mocha was perfect and my small rip session was not disturbed. Will definitely come back again.

A lovely little board game cafe with a large choice of games for everyone. The food is great and the milkshakes are massive! The staff know their games and happy to give suggestions.
