First Roofing & Building Services Reviews

Cecilia Court 2026.10.07

I wasn’t happy with this company at first because they failed to fix a leaky gutter which was included in the quote to repair a leak in my porch. Three months later, when they realised their mistake, they were very apologetic and attended promptly to fix the gutter. I’m very happy with their work, the leak in my porch, which other roofers had failed to sort out, has not recurred. Definitely would recommend.

Connor came out to fix my velux window and was most polite when pointing out that it wasn't broken after all. He was also too polite to point out that I was just a numpty. I appreciate his time and didn't make me feel it was any bother :)

Many thanks to FRBS for kindly replacing the missing edging from my roof when they were working across the road. The design of their new roof is incredible and gives the house so much more appeal. Definitely a worthwhile improvement. I am impressed with the team who have worked tirelessly despite the heat. Don't know how they coped but they did. Your time and expertise is much appreciated. Thanks again for your kindness.

Discovered we needed a new roof while renovating our bungalow. Chose First Roofing because of price, speed, and the communication was very clear and responsive. Guys undertook the work in wet weather. No water ingress at all. After the main work was done, the guys came back out to finish off a few bits having worked around our main building contractor. Very happy with the finish, follow up and 10 year guarantee. Highly recommend First Roofing.

Really pleased with the roughcasting, roof remediation, gutter/fascia replacement and stonework refurbishment work by FRBS on our house - the exterior has been completely refreshed and looks great. One contractor to take on all these aspects seems rare and a key reason we selected the company to complete in one project. The guys always arrived at expected times, were polite and got the work finished quickly and efficiently - finished within 2 weeks. In particular, the passion and care by roughcaster Kevin for his trade was very apparent. There were a couple of small issues at end but project manager was really quick to resolve and ensure we were happy with the outcome. Thanks guys.

FRBS did a hugely professional job of replacing the entire roof. The whole experience was positive from the quote through to the work itself. The pricing was very reasonable too.
