I asked FamilyTutor to help me match for Math Tutor and Chinese Tutor for my son, Ethan. It’s only about 4 months to PSLE and I wasn’t sure that we would find good quality tutors at such notice. Within a week, they were able to find Ms Lam (Math) and Mr Weekee(Chinese) for Ethan. It’s been 3 weeks of lessons and here’s my thoughts on both tutors. 1) MATH - Ms Lam is definitely a very experienced tutor who has experience as a MOE teacher. She is very patient and willing to find out where are his weak spots, and advice is ok how to cultivate them. The assignments she leaves for him are very practical and I can see that it will help greatly , especially since the time left for PSLE is short. 2)CHINESE - Mr Weekee is really good in connecting with Ethan, and helps him a lot to understand the Chinese phrases (which is Ethan’s biggest challenge). He is fluent in English too, which helps to make him understand the Chinese phrases. Thank you to the team in Family Tutor for helping us find 2 great tutors in such short notice. 🙏🏽

My Family Tutor agency is very professional and offered me a few tutors to choose from after I told them my needs for an English tutor for my son. The tutor, Mr Nick is friendly and could get along well with my son. Hopefully he will be able to help my son with his English.

Based on the good reviews I tried contacting them twice. The first time, I managed to get a tutor but a few days before the tutor starts the lesson, the agency told me due to personal issues the tutor has to cancel it. So they said they will find a replacement for me but there was no replacement at all. So I decided to try again for a tutor for another subject after some time. They take awhile to reply me but what's most frustrating is I been following up with them instead of another way round. Keep telling me there is no suitable tutor. I only need a full time tutor on a weekday how difficult is that? Make me wonder where the good reviews comes from

It is our 3rd Lesson today, Tutor Penny is able to engage my energetic and inquisitive girl and my P1 girl enjoys learning with her and does look forward to her lessons. A good experience thus far :)
