Marvellous trek with great support from guide Sara and translator Alberto. Good food and lodgings. Fun spirit with walkers of all sorts. Expotur were super easy to deal with.

Expotour brindó el acompañamiento de nuestra Guía Sara y nuestro traductor Alberto; grandes personas y seres humanos que tuvieron la disponibilidad 100% de acompañarnos en este recorrido. Expotour planeó todo desde la recogida en el aeropuerto, hasta el acompañamiento del hotel.
Sara fue nuestra guía y Alberto nuestro traductor, muy felices con esta agencia porque estuvieron pendientes de nosotros, sara excelente persona y Alberto igual. Las comidas eran deliciosas, de buen sabor, las estaciones de fruta. Los campamentos todo fue genial!!! Volvería a hacer esta ruta pero en mas dias para aprovechar este hermoso paisaje con mas tiempo

Jederzeit wieder mit Expotour! Wir wurden super umsorgt! Jeder konnte in seinem Tempo laufen 😊 Neben den 3 Hauptmahlzeiten (großes Kompliment an Ismael den Koch, der aus einer einfachen Kochgelegenheit schmackhafte und abwechslungsreiche Gerichte zauberte), gab es alle paar Stunden kleine Zwischensnacks (z.B. Obst…)! José war ein super und kompetenter Guide, der jederzeit Hilfestellung anbot und die Gruppe mit viel Humor und Geschichten begleitete 😃
Und Carlo der Übersetzer sprach perfektes, sehr gut verständliches Englisch und hatte auch viel Wissen über die indigene Bevölkerung! Außerdem war er auch jederzeit als Fotograf zur Stelle 😉

I had an incredible experience on the 4 day tour to the Lost City with Expotours! From the beginning, the guides turned 7 strangers into “Las Ranitas de Papi”. The food and camps along the way were rustic but memorable. So many gorgeous rivers and waterfalls to swim in! Trekking through the jungle and learning about the indigenous people was so special. I enjoyed the journey as much as magical Lost City itself! Our translator Carlos was so full of information and willing to answer so many questions. When I got sick, our guide Jose patiently led me down by mule for hours to the sweet nurse. Everyone was kind and professional throughout. Most importantly, Jose and Carlos worked so well together so that everyone had an amazing experience! I have been on many guided treks and I would (and have already) highly recommend Expotours to everyone!

Beautiful hike with beautiful swimming treasure
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience. It was physically really challenging but it was possible to pay a little bit extra so my backpack would be carried or transfered by motor. It was really worth it and made my hike easier. We swam 2 times a day and the swimming was the highlight of the hike for me. Our guides were all from the towns nearby. They know all the history and explained a lot. Especially Sara knew everything about the environment, the history, the animals, everything. Also Sofia our translator was really nice. Her English was perfect. She was chill and made everybody felt comfortable. Our cook Emiro did a great job. There was plenty of food and a highlight was pasta bolognese after a really long day of hiking. I ate 3 plates. Bryan G was also really kind and played in important part.

El trekking a Ciudad Perdida ha sido, sin duda, una de las experiencias más impresionantes de mi vida. Desde el primer día hasta el último, todo estuvo a un nivel excepcional. Quiero destacar especialmente al equipo de guías: Adriana, Brayan y Ariel estuvieron pendientes en todo momento, atentos a cada detalle, siempre con una sonrisa y una actitud increíblemente amable. Su conocimiento de la ruta, la historia y la naturaleza de la Sierra Nevada enriqueció el recorrido de una forma que va mucho más allá de lo que cualquier guía de viaje podría ofrecer. Se nota que lo hacen con verdadera vocación. Y no puedo dejar de mencionar al cocinero Ismael, cuya comida fue una grata sorpresa en cada parada. Cocina realmente bien — después de horas de caminata, sus platos eran exactamente lo que el cuerpo y el alma necesitaban. Me voy completamente encantada con esta aventura. Si estás dudando si hacerlo, no lo pienses más: merece cada paso, cada subida y cada gota de sudor. ¡Gracias a todo el equipo por cuidarnos tan bien!

Totalmente recomendable la experiencia! Trekking exigente pero merece la pena cada paso. Y lo mejor de todo, el equipo formado por Adriana, Ariel y Brayan y el mejor de los cocineros, Ismael :) sin duda hacerlo con ellos ha hecho que fuera todo aún mejor.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on the 4-day Lost City trek in Santa Marta. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The food was surprisingly great for a multi-day hike—fresh, tasty, and plentiful, giving us all the energy we needed each day. The camps were well-prepared, and the overall logistics ran smoothly. An amazing experience
What an incredible adventure it was! Everything went good, from the unique scenery of the Sierra Nevada and the Lost city, the organization of the tour and the insights on the indigenous people. The trek was sometimes a little bit challenging but our amazing team composed by Sara, Sofia, Brian and Emiro helped us a lot with explanations, suggestions, super food and comfortable accommodations!

Amazing experience The hike is touch but the fruit breaks, lunches etc are spaced out nicely so you always feel fuelled Shout out to Sara, Sophia and Bryan who looked after us so well
