Before the karting session started, we were not given sufficient safety information, which I believe contributed to the accident and resulting injuries. The briefing we received only covered how to operate the kart and the meanings of the flags that the staff waved during the race. Other than that, we were told that neck braces were mandatory for people under 15 years old and strongly recommended for those older than 15.
Before our session began, we had to search for neck braces ourselves because there were not enough available for the number of participants present at the time. While we were looking for neck braces, one of the employees told us that they were not really necessary. However, this directly contradicted the safety briefing, where neck braces had been specifically recommended.
During the preparation process, neither the helmets nor the seat belts were checked by the staff. In fact, we did not even know that the karts had seat belts. Since the staff asked whether we had previous karting experience and we clearly stated that it was our first time, the safety equipment should have been properly checked and explained to us.
I was also not informed that the strap underneath the helmet needed to be fastened. I did not even know such a strap existed. As a result, when I crashed, my helmet flew off.
After the accident, it took a long time for the staff to notice me. During that time, other karts coming from behind also crashed into me. While waiting for assistance, I saw one of the employees looking at their phone instead of paying attention to the track.
The first aid provided after the accident was extremely unprofessional. I was given ice cubes wrapped inside a hand towel — the kind of ice cubes normally used for drinks. Later, when we spoke with an authorized staff member, we were told that they actually had proper ice packs, but one of the employees did not know where they had been placed.
Overall, this experience showed a serious lack of professionalism and proper safety procedures.

Hi Eda,
We are sad to see you had an accident, our team was very fast on location to help you. but in a situation like that, every second can feel too long. We understand.
The fact that all at once several members of your group wanted to fill in an insurance paper, even tough nothing happened with them. Was not really fair of your side to be honest.
We don't see the issue with ice cubes versus ice packs. Depending on the situation one or the other is better. I'm sure you were well surrounded, most of our Lead Marchals have an EHBO training.
When something unpredictable like this happens, every person will have a chaotic feeling. It's not always linked to our team, but also to the situation. Sorry you felt like that.
We are one of the few Entertainment locations that takes the time to do a personal briefing to every guest that drives with us or does another activity.
Besides that, there are information boards everywhere. Our TeamMembers are trained to reply to any question. Everything you mentionned you didn't know, was explained in the briefing + a big info board that you can't miss.
Our Marshalls check all seatbelts and gear before our drivers leave the pitlane. The world is not perfect, so it can happen that we miss one person. But your descripion is the contrary of our standard operating procedure.
Your group was in the Fun Session, so that was the right group for your level of Experience Level. This is a speed you should be able to handle.
Please stay in contact so we can help you when needed!

My boyfriend and I went to Experience Factory together for an hour, and we had an amazing time! It’s a really fun and active activity that you can do as a couple, but it’s also perfect for a group. The experience was exciting, interactive, and something completely different from the usual outings. We enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely come back again in the future! Highly recommended.

Booked the time mission thinking it was like an escape room, but it was so much better than that. We had a great time challenging the rooms. Staff was very friendly and approachable as well. High recommended if you want a fun time!

Hi Catherine,
It's indeed not always easy to explain the concept, since it is so new and innovative. These kind of reviews even help explaining.
Thank you very much for this nice review

Had a lot of fun in the Time Machine! An hour wasn't enough to do every room so we'll have to come back!

Glad you enjoyed it :)
With 1 hour, you indeed can’t do everything.
For many people, it’s a fun way to get introduced to the activity without too high of a budget.
But 2 hours is really the only way to enjoy 100% of Time Mission.
1.5 hours already makes a big difference as well.
